A little of this.....

I am feeling like an Odds and Ends day! Just a little of this and a little of that for Show and Tell at Kelli's! Maybe because that is how I have been physically, a little of this and a little of that!!!

This is a small little plaque that survived from my "country" decorating. I have always loved it because the heart on the house is a separate hanging heart. Many a move that heart was taped to the back, so it wouldn't get lost!

When I was a little girl, I wanted a boy doll. I think it was really a desire for a brother, which I did not have. This is my doll. He is wearing an outfit my Aunt Esther made for him. She is quite the seamstress. It is the only outfit I have for him now.

Seriously, I think this is what my brother could have looked like!

Here he is, wearing my husband's baby hat! It is ok to squeal...I do it all the time!

Little Nippon dish purchased at estate sale...$5.00. I don't know if that was good or not, but I thought it was so cute.

Pocket watch holder...I have always wanted one of these. My husband has this watch from the Bicentenial. I bought it for him for our 3rd anniversary! The base of this was oak, but I wanted it black to go better in our home, so out came the faithful black paint!

I have this note card framed and in my Living Room. I have had it for years and I cherish it. I wish I knew where it came from, I would order some more. It has the names of God on it.

You sound like my kind of person. A little of this and a little of that. The little hat, ahhh! I too got another little dish. I will have to share when I get home tonight. My mom had an old watch in a display like that. I think she gave it to my brother a few months ago. Thanks for sharing.

I love the doll! My favorite doll had to be made by the same manufacturer because it looks so similar! I named her Gina Marie and later named my 3rd beautiful daughter by the same name...

I had a card like that with the names of God and I'll have to look for it and see if it is still here somewhere. Have a great weekend.

I love the little heart plaque too. My mom had something similar and always hung the right number of hearts for the number of people living in the house. It was a fun tradition.

Interesting this and that stuff. A boy doll for a brother. Why didn't I think of that? I was always begging my mom for a brother or sister when I was growing up. I never got one. I had lots of dolls though. Guess I just didn't have enough imagination. lol

The dish is very pretty! I love the doll, he reminds me of the one I have, except the hair is slick, I got her when I was two, and lot of fingers missing and the eyes are not in great shape, my other doll I gave a hair cut, bad! I threw her away, my older sister saved her for me and gave her to me after I got married. I treasure my doll, for they were the only ones I ever got. I from a large family. After 10 years no more Christmas. I loved the heart too. I have thing still around from my country crafty days. Hope you had a great weekend. I had family here all day, for a Birthday party of one of my grandson. Love Gloria's idea of wreath of the day. Hope you feel better! Oh, I forgot about the pocket watch holder! I do love love it! I have never seen one. I bought my Hubby a pocket watch, back in the 1978 or 79. I wish I would find a holder, it sits in a drawer! I went to a huge neighborhood yard sale, blocks and blocks at each home. Its held once a year, I had so much fun! Very tired! Still! I bought a whole truck load, really I did!
