Day 2 - Giving Thanks
Today I want to give thanks for the wonderful husband the Lord has given to me. I always knew that my husband loved me, he has always been so good to me. But in the last few years when we faced a heartbreak and then when I received my diagnosis, he really "stepped to the plate" and has been even a greater blessing each day. When I thought that I could no longer laugh or have joy again, my husband would bring something to my eyes, my thoughts, or my heart that gave me hope to face another day. If I had no other blessing in this life, I still would be most blessed.

That was so sweet to read of your appreciation and love for your husband and that you know how truly blessed you are to have him. I feel the same way about mine. ;-) Bo

Thanks for sharing the things you are thankful for. It's so important to stop and be aware. I think you are describing the kind of love that comes with time. After being married 20 years I just know that it's so special. :)
