Ceekay is still here!!

When my oncologist took me off of chemo a month ago, I decided to get ready for Christmas while I was feeling good!  Shopping done, wrapping done, and decorations done!

This is just a few of my decorations.

I did the tree in gold and bronzes again this year.  I think it is so pretty for a small tree.

This little bear is sitting on my childhood rocker.  She sings Sleighbells ring!

I am absolutely gaga over my tree ribbon.  Talk about the real meaning of Christmas!

My Valerie Parr Hill carolers.  They are much more affordable for me than Byers.  The little books are my caroling books from my youth!

This snowman is a candle....Now you know he is about 10 years old and I will never light him....

Or this precious mini candle.  About 2 inches.  My daughter gave him to me when she was a teenager.

Another favorite...chunky snowman!!

There is more, but little bit at a time....I am so glad to be ready....because I see the doctor for new treatment on Thursday!

Hope your decorating is going well.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Christmas!

Joyfully,

Ceekay

Ceekay, your tree is absolutely stunning! I had to zoom it in to full screen to drool over every detail and have gone back and scrolled through this post about 4 times so far...and that ribbon! oh! that was the first thing I noticed! wherever did you get it? I LOVE it. So elegant, it compliments your tree perfectly. The fact that you have your childhood rocker and caroling books is so special. And I love your green kitchen scale...I just purchased one exactly like that this fall except mine is cream and green. God Bless you in your healing and treatments. Warm Hugs,

Hope the chemo went well, Ceekay. I have been sick for two months, and I am up and around and thankfully better. I have been MIA from blogging, too, and I am glad to see that you posted tonight!

Looks like you are having a productive time and love your ornaments and decorations! Just so festive at your house. I need to finish my shopping, but I do have some things done.

Sending you big Christmas hugs!

Welcome back, Ceekey! I'm so glad you are feeling better and was able to do your Christmas decorating. I always miss you so much when we don't hear from you for ahwile. Love your new ribbon and your tree looks delicious! I have candles my kids gave me years ago that I will never light, also. They are just too precious. Hi Ceekey, so good to hear from you! I'm so happy your were feeling better; enough to get your Christmas finished! That's quite an accomplishment! I always worry about you when you are away for awhile, I guess we all do, just because we miss you so! Hope you feel the love because it's there in large amounts! I will be praying you will have a very mild experience with your new chemo on Thursday. Hugs, Judy
