Seriously, It is Always Somethin'

Bloggers, if you have a moment would you pray for me today and tomorrow?

I don't want to be a baby, and you would think that all I have been through, I would be fine, but I am NOT.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning at 9AM.

On top of finding out that I am highly allergic to the mosquitos this year...I have an inflamed gum by a top molar.  And mercy, it hurts.

I finally found a dentist that will see me....and of course, I am terrified...but, I can't live in pain.

So if you think of me....say a little bravery prayer for me...thanks....

Oh, and of top of all of this, I just paid out 600 dollars (after insurance) for glasses and contacts...and no, I did not get designer.

I told my husband if I was a horse, he would just shoot me!!

I hope your dental appointment went well, and that you will heal quickly. Praying for you!
I know how horrible it is to have a tooth problem, they hurt so badly. I really need some work done, but no dental insurance, and the prices are outrageous. Glad you were able to get yours taken care of. Hopefully, it will be a wonderful relief to have it over with, and you will be good as new in no time. Gentle hugs...Sandra

Prayers. I just found the best dentist. Free laughing gas. I had been in the dentist chair four hours just to come home and have the filling fall out. I went to this new dentist. They got me in the same day. I was in his chair for 4 more hours but accepted the gas. You may be given antibiotics and they may wait to do something.
My husband and I feel the same way....always something. It's a pain getting older.

Yes, I will say a little "be brave" prayer. Feel better soon... Until then, perhaps a little vanilla patted on the gum (don't massage) might help???

My internet connection conked out when I tried to make a comment, so I don't think it went through. I am praying that you stay calm and that only a minor procedure is needed, that doesn't cost much, dear friend.
Your last line was funny!

Well now, the dentist, that's just something different from ordinary things, that's a kinda scary thing to nearly everyone. So yeah, will definitely be praying for your to be brave, very brave, and get some relief. Hugs ~ Mary

I say a prayer for you! I just went to the eye doc today. Don't know what glasses will cost yet. They dilated my eyes so I don't pick out anything until I'm back to normal. Be brave tomorrow!

Ceekay, I so understand how you are feeling; I hate the dentist and we don't have insurance and everytime we go in the prices keep going up. I want to go to a new dentist but I'm afraid he'll tell me that the care I've gotten has been bad(like he did with other family members who went to the same one). Praying for you dear one. Oh-and the glasses, I'm with you on that one!
Love, Noreen

Saying a prayer for you friend! Glad you were able to get in to a dentist quickly- I don't think we have anyone who will work on a Saturday here (if I am reading this correctly I am thinking you will be going tomorrow- Sat)

I think it has been 2 years since I got new glasses and usually go 5-7 years before getting new ones (I AM cheap!) but my eyes are already changing again and feel like I am going to have to go in to the eye dr soon.

PS I am glad you are not a horse!

I just jotted your name down as a reminder to pray for you in the morning. Dentists can be scary. :( I hope you find quick relief..there is not much worse than tooth pain.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Think happy thoughts when sitting in the dentist chair - maybe even bring your ipod - and all will be fine.

NO need to shoot anyone...we are here, and will be praying for you. YOu will be glad when it is over. Make yourself decorate an entire room in your mind while the dentist is working on you. Paint the walls, vacuum the floor, put up pictures, fix the bed with new bedding....keep your mind going on something to distract yourself. But I'm praying Ceekay right now. YOu are going to be ok, and God will bring in the extra money to you. He provides for all of our needs.
Blessings,
Give yourself a big hug from me.
