Got your coffee, tea??

Cause this is going to be a long post.  Remember, I am on pain meds...so who knows where this could go??!!

Ok, first....someone, I don't remember who, posted a while back about this gadget.  I couldn't believe it.  I call my girlfriend Ro and asked, do you know what this is...and she laughed and said, yes, and I have one.
Where have I been??
So last night my hubs took me to Big Lots for something else,  they didn't have it...but they did have.....my Toaster Tongs!!
I was thrilled.

(it doesn't take much ladies....)

I have to tell you this story that happened Sunday.

My son said he was coming over, but first he and his friend were going bike riding.  (This is by text of course, cuz, well, it isn't cool to actually call your mother!!)
So later, he didn't come over (which again is nothing new) so I texted him and after a bit I said, how was the bike ride?  He writes back...you went on a bike ride??  I thought what is the matter with him...and I answered, no, you and >>>>>>> bike ride?  He says, where in the world did you get that I was going on a bike ride.  I said....you texted me (which of course, he tells me texted is not a word!) that you were going on a bike ride.
So, to PROVE MY POINT I went back through my text messages from him and guess what?   He never said anything, ANYTHING about a bike ride with >>>>>>>>.

I laughed and laughed....and as I write this, I am still laughing.....

One good reason why I don't do drugs!!

OK, so I will leave you with some nice pics of our dining area....just so you will come back again!

I know this is mine, and I shouldn't say this...but isn't this the stinkinest cutest thing!!

Oh Ceekay, you are too cute! First a toast tongs (I did not know what that was when I saw the photo) and then the mysterious text message that never happened. You sound like me at times!

Oh girl you sound like my youngest daughter. She says the funniest things when she is on medication. Last June she came and stayed here a week to have ACL surgery. She stopped taking the meds the 2nd day because she said they made her too weird. I could only say, really? lol! Love the chair vignette and yes that is the stinkinest cutest thing!
Hugs,
Jann

You are so funny! I love it! I know my Grandson thinks I have Alzheimers. He'll tell me when/where he will be singing, and a day later, I ask him again. He just nicely repeats it to me, but I know he gets frustrated. :) Oh....I'm not on meds! Just getting OLD.

Have a great week!

Hi Ceekay,

I'm sorry to learn that you're needing medication, but I guess we all are traveling down that path.

However, it's good to "hear" from you and see your pretty pumpkin under a cloche.

Please come visit me and see my cloches.
