Itsy Bitsy....

spider Hoarder COLLECTOR!

I wanted to share some "personal friends" as my hubby calls them.  You know, stuff that you keep for whatever reason......
I think they are unique and will make me a millionaire someday!!!!!  Yah, right!

Anyways....I know where they are, I like them, and I am keeping them...just to make a disclaimer to some unnamed male person that lives here, and it isn't Bentley!!

Can you guess what company these were from.  My mom LOVED their products!

The Fuller Brush company.  Now, I am going to do a Shelia...and say...wasn't it clever of me to put the Fuller brush letter openers on a brush?!!?!

If you have been to this place you will know instantly where these are from.
Zenders in Frankenmuth Michigan....it comes in the dish of ice cream mixed with orange sherbet.
Yeah, like you would part with them??  I don't think so either!

Now I ask you?  How many of you kept some of the "olden" coffee spoons from McDonalds.  You know they can't use them anymore right...and you know why...right??

This was a pencil my daddy used.  He got it from a building supply store...probably in the 40's.

see...the little ladder moves up and down...too cute!

You have any little treasures that someday are going to be worth a fortune??  or at least a good tug at the heart?  I KNOW you DO!!

Buttons- I have a big bag of lapel buttons- presidential ones, funny ones, one that I really need to wear all the time which says " that's ok I don't remember your name either!"

How is your newest project coming along?

Love your treasures. I have a few advertising things that belonged to hubby's grandad when he owned a hatchery business. And a couple of promo items. One is a miniature level. When we sell our stuff we'll buy a tropical island together, okay?;>) xo Diana

I guessed correctly. Yes, you are clever. I vaguely remember the little stirring spoons... You have done a great job of keeping these items. Perhaps one day you can open a museum!

Hi Miss Ceekay, what a great post. I remember those spoons from McDonalds. those are great. And yes I love how Shelia is creative and so clever, but so are you. Love the special collection you have. How funny. There are things I have but no value, that just make me happy when I look at them. I guess that's why we collect.
Have a great week sweet friend. and thanks for the card in the mail. It made my day! yay!
Blessings,
Debbie

Such fun little treasures. I'm guilty of keeping things too. It's interesting to see what companies used to give away. I have a lot of biscuit cutters that were promotional pieces. I had other cookie cutters, from companies, but gave them to a friend who had a cookie business. I had Betsy McCall, Robin Hood figures, etc. Wish I still had some of these to share on the blog. LOL

Oh gosh I love your little Fuller Brush men. I am old enough to remember when the real ones would come to our house when I was little. Good memories!
Have a great weekend Ceekay!!!!

Very clever indeed! I save stuff like this, and then my inner "it is junk" comes out - and, well...you know where they end up! Fun post!

Hey I think your Daddy's pen was a level... Ask your husband. Why did McDonald's stop giving out those coffee stirrers? I don't know that one.... AND one last question... How did you know when to save these? Way cool little treasures. :) Hope you are feeling better!!

If you're going to display treasures on a brush, that's the one to display them on. It's beautiful! What cool treasures these are. I love those letter openers. I bet not many people kept these things, and I bet they will be worth more than a tug at your heart. But, if not, just because they provide a tug at your heart is good enough reason to keep them. laurie
