When we moved to our current home 5 years ago, there were no birds. Just pigeons. It is a new subdivision built on cotton fields. Very few trees. But as the years have passed, neighbors have planted bushes and trees. We see more birds now. So I got the idea to buy a small birdfeeder and see what happens....
There be birds here!!
I THINK these are Desert Chickadees....but I am guessing. Look at the second picture to the left. Another bird is waiting for a table to open up. Reminds me of eating at In and Out!!

I love to sit and watch the birds. You'll be happy you added a bird feeder. ~ sarah
You are probably going to have all sorts of birds flocking to the restaurant soon. They are so fun to watch!
XO,
Jane
I'm sure they will be telling their friends and soon you will have trouble keeping the feeder filled. They sure are fun to watch.
Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting on the faux clock I made.
We have a bird feeder too and I love watching the different types of birds coming to eat. Sometimes it can be peaceful to watch them.
Hi Ceekay, Thank you for sharing your new friends at my party this week. You will probably become the most popular house on the block when the word gets out about free food.
Hugs,
Sherry
Oh my gosh Ceekay they are so stinkin cute!! We have feeders out in our backyard too and I love watching all the different birds coming for their dinner. Martina
We enjoy watching the birds at home and here at the lake. We have hummingbirds at the lake. More so than at home. We have a feeder on the deck. So much fun watching them.
Wonderful post Ceekay.
Ceekay, Now that the birds have discovered your lovely outdoor cafe, you will probably be booking tables all day long! Great photos! I love the "bird waiting for a table to open"! Squirrels steal all of my bird seed.
Grrrr! laurie
it's the perfect birdie buffet! No wonder they're lining up! *winks* Vanna
