Gifts and Garage Sale
I received a gift yesterday. I don't know from who...except it is obviously someone who reads my blog and knows my son. So thank you. I was tickled when I saw the bee S&P. I had been looking for a set.
Isn't he cute?
I added it to my Bee display on the counter in the kitchen...
I went garage sale-ing Friday. Found this trim for 50 cents. Hey Marty...working on doing that ottoman!!
All this lace was $1.00. Aren't you proud of me Karen??
This was also in the gift bag. Isn't this the most truest saying. I am doing my best to live by this!!

ohh Ceekay..I love that lace!!! I have not been garage saleing in a while..its getting to hot for me..and I get grouchy by 9am LOL. BUT once the cooler weather comes..I will venture out and see what treasures I can find.
Oh nice! I just finished a slip cover for my red ottoman. I'll be sharing it soon.

Hi Ceekay, I LOVE the lace you got and can't get over it being just a dollar! I've been looking online for some vintage lace pieces but they are nowhere near that good of a deal!

What a lovely gift, Ceekay! You found some great stuff, too. Love the lace and trim. One year I got rid of a whole bunch of trim at a yard sale. I just had so much of it and it was not being used.
