Living Life with Family and Friends....Graciously and Joyfully..one day at a Time!
What a wonderful idea. Instead of having an apartment building a lovely B&B. I recognize those great big windows all schools used to have. Many a happy time spent daydreaming while looking out those windows.
What fun! I would love to stay in an old school like this - it looks like the one I went to grade school in. Hope this finds you on the mend, and feeling better every day. Sally
WOW!!! What a great place to say-a real treat and I love how they have kept so many of the old school things- xo Diana
How fun is that! Have a wonderful time.
That looks like so much fun! I fell asleep in class once...it wasn't the same! LOL!xoAndie
Ceekay, this is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. I think it is so unique to re-do and old school into something beautiful and serves a purpose.
What an adorable B&B....that must have been sooo fun. I've never stayed in one but it's going on my Bucket List.
Oh how fun. I loved seeing all the old desks and the antiques. The salt and pepper really is wonderful. So glad you had fun. Hugs, Marty
What a great way to recycle a school house. A one room school house would be even more fun. I like that they left some of the original things in the B and B. The desks and chalk boards all add to the atmosphere. Those shrubs outside are really interesting on how they grow tall but don't block the windows. I bet you had a great time.
I saw my PB chairs and some really cool vintage school chairs too.
Hi Ceekay, what a neat B&B. The bath is beautiful and that chalkboard would fit in my den just great. xo, olive
Thank you for letting me go along on your trip. I love seeing the area. My son and his family moved to Gilbert, how far are you from Gilbert?Nonie
What a fun place to spend a night or 2! Someone bought the old school house here several years ago and is supposedly fixing it up for their home I believe. Would be fun to tour it!Goodness you have been busy! Are you going to be home in March? I think we are planning on coming to see Bill's folks that 2nd full week. Hope to see you!bee blessedmary
