Wedding Prep Fullswing

First out of the gate I want to thank all of you for your visits to my blogs.  I have a list of people to go blog visiting...but I am sorry it is going to have to wait.  I am in Full Bridal Prep Mode!

My daughter's wedding is one week from today and my husband and I are doing the majority of everything....

Her colors are red, white, and black.  She is my daughter after all!!

Thursday I made and filled 50 favor boxes with mints.

Then I added some red ribbon to the white rose swags for the arch...

Yes, we are doing all the flowers in silk.  She wants an outdoor wedding and the temps are supposed to be in the 110s.  This way the flowers won't wilt.  Not our preference, but you do what you have to do.

I was so tickled to get these both for $25.00.  These will go on each side of the arch....

You can peek and see the silk geraniums for some pots behind the pillars.

Thank you for all your encouragement and prayers for my health.  I am getting it all done, so life is good.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Oh those little boxes are adorable! I can't believe the wonderful deal you got on the pedestals.

I know you will be busy and there is no need to comment to me until this is all over. :)

I do have an old fashioned cleaning frolic planned for your daughter's wedding day. We will say a prayer for you as we whistle while we work.

It is my hope to have a pre holiday bloggers luncheon and you will definitely come to that.

Oh Ceekay this is so exciting!! The favor boxes are adorable. When the wedding is over you have to tell me where you got those stands for $25, we have having an outside wedding too and they are sooo expensive. Have fun!

I love your little boxes. One of my dds had an outdoor wedding and we used silk, too. It was too hard to judge what the weather was going to be like. In the end we were glad we did that-plus there was no last minute scurrying around to put together fresh arrangements and bouquets.

I am glad that your health is holding up...xo Diana

What a beautiful wedding it will be for sure and I love the color combinations!
The bitty boxes you made are adorable and the guests will love them. The pillars were a steal! They will be nice for other uses after the wedding too.
Gosh I can not even imagine what 110 degree temps feel like and hope that it cools down a little for the special day!!
Am looking forward to seeing the wedding photos!

O'Cheekay, I can so relate to how you are feeling. I was planning my daughter's wedding this time last year. I was so worn out from it that I was completely exhausted when the day finally came!! Hope you have a wonderful day, Gail
