Uncle!

Most of you surely will know what I mean.....I give!

Super woman, I am not.  Moving day is coming around the corner.  I however, am a mess!

Too much on my brain.  I know the problem...they say that is half the battle.

Usually, BEFORE, when I have moved, 1..  it was bigger, not smaller.
2..  I was younger
3... I wasn't remodeling and moving at the same time
4... I still had some semblance of sanity!

Oh, if I only could wave that magical wand.

Now, I KNOW, it all doesn't have to be done right away.  I get that, but when everything is going to have a place, there isn't much room to just stash it and do later.

It is so getting to me I almost just drove all the boxes to GW and called it done today!  I didn't...but boy, it sure sounded tempting....

Ok, so I am done whining...well, probably not, but I will stop typing about it....thanks for listening!

I thought you might like to see a couple of pictures.

I used to wear this pin when my kids played soccer.  I gave it to my daughter on Saturday when we went to the kid's soccer games.  She recognized it right away!

This is the gate to get into our community.  During the day there is staff checking who is going in.  I like that!  At night, it is entry by code....the gates are closed.  The big building toward the back is the Community Center.  That is where the workout room and pool and jacuzzi are!!

This picture may seem strange, but I am looking through screening from our car port...those are the mailboxes...which are on the right side of the Community Center.

My husband and our handyman we met at the community worked all day last Wednesday and put up the screening.  It changed the look of the place so much.  It is to help keep the elements and the sun beating down on the car.
All the posts have water by them...so I dug out the aloe plants (ugly) and have gradually planted perenials in each spot....except where the pot is....I haven't planted one there yet...but I have it ready to go....

This is a red Hibiscus....

This is the side of the shed.....see the plant on the right...??
It was pretty much covering the half of the shed.  We cut it right down and lookie...back it comes!  Have no idea what it is.  It doesn't bloom or anything.

A pink Hibiscus....aren't they pretty?

I don't remember what the name of this was...but I like the little yellow flowers.

I planted a geranium in the pot, but it is not happy....so I will be moving it...

Last one!

This is standing at the edge of the carport, looking down....it is hard to see from here...but we have a very large lot....  the pavers were there...but they will go when we redo the rock.
The lava rock has to go, the HOA won't allow it, but that will be done LATER!

Well, I am going to bed.  I have to see what kind of trouble I can get myself into tomorrow!!  Have a good week everyone....

Ceeky, I think your new home will be lovely when your garden grows. It certainly is very secure, which is very important these days. Before you know it it will all be done' xx

Hope that you don't get into any more trouble, Ceekay. Sounds as if you have plenty to deal with already. I love to see a woman's touch upon a home. The flowers made me grin. The "welcome home" flag, too. That car port is a great thing for keeping the car from baking.

Take care, Ceekay!

Ceekay, you will have your new place looking B-eautiful in no time. I love Hibiscus! I have planted 3 of them here. I'm wondering if the yellow bush is a Broom? Kind of looks similar, but hard to tell from a pic. I know moving is not an easy job. The older we get the harder things are. Darn, I want my young body back. lol!

Jann

Looks great. I think you are going to like it there. Especially with everything being new again...
The yellow flowering bush smells like Heaven's door is half open! I have one in the front yard - but - I thought they needs shade! Broom something is the name of it..
I'll find out...
Love it all! Hugs.

Oh-What a big job, CeeKay. I know..it is going to be hard to downsize. We have always moved up, too, so I know this next move will not be an easy one.

You are doing a good job. Just hang in there and soon it will be over and one with and you can start to enjoy your new home..and have fun decorating it. Blessings- Diana

Hi Ceekay,
You have a wonderful front yard..it really is big.I love the yellow flowering plant too, I have two of them in my back yard, I can't remember the name of the darn plant either LOL, but it will get really big and tall it will also spread out like a bush. Moving is never easy just take a breath and sit down for a while,if things become over whelming for you. I can't wait to see how you decorate the inside of your new home. I know it will be beautiful!
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth

I know things are turned upside down right now but this looks like such a nice place...I would LOVE to sell our house and move into a wonderful mobile home. In fact, I asked the MR. yesterday if he would consider doing it. Yard work is becoming harder ea summer for us and the house is too big.
I want your mobile home!!!!!

Hey sweets...my Mr. AGPMan and I moved 14 times in two years when we were first married and that was more than enough for a lifetime. We've lived in our home almost 20 years now and I hope to never leave.

Moving is hard even in the best of situations. Before long all this hard work will be a memory and you'll be resting in your new, gorgeous home.

I'm loving all I see.

I'm hoping you can get some rest about now, Ceekay! Moving is SOOOO stressful but it looks like you're making great progress.
I love all the pretty flowers you've got going there. AZ has such wonderful sunshine!!

Take it easy, K?

Oh we had a move last July...a forced move and I even counted boxes as a game..oh my, yes, easier when younger.

Love the soccer mom pin..mine would be basketball, softball and baseball..traveled enough miles with each child for them to owe me a car!

Blessings on your move
