Wonderful Michigan Fall Memories!

I have had such a wonderful time this past week at Kathy's home. We have been like a couple of teenagers with all the howling and laughing and carrying on. Monday we went to the Cider Mill. I have been planning my rendevous with a fresh, warm cinnemon donut for weeks!
It is finally here!

MMMMMM, it is so warm and tender........
Oh, that first yummy bite...
Crunchy on the outside...
Soft inside....
I cannot stand it...it is SOOOOOOO good. OH NO!!!

Yep, that is us up on the wagon.....getting up was hard.......you should have seen us trying to get down. If it was recorded by someone...I am sure it would be on You Tube!!We had a lovely High Tea at Afton Tea Room in Plymouth!
I am so lonely for a handsome man with my hubby at home! Oh Ken...can I give you a hug???
How about a little kiss???

Well, ladies, I am off to my Aunt's home/cottage in Northern Michigan. I will be without computer access unless they have one at the library! I will be posting again when I return in 2 weeks. Please visit Kathy's blog to see a few more pictures of our time together.

Ceekay - you're killing me with that donut. The cider mill is probably the thing I miss most about Michigan. Nothing like it here. I am so envious of your trip to the tea room in Plymouth. I used to live in Northville and spent a lot of time in Plymouth. Such a cute little town. Oh and by the way, your new friend is quite a cutie. He he.

Have fun,
Kim

Ceekay,

That donut looks yummy. I would have ate 6 of them. I have no discipline when it comes to donuts. Especially warm donuts. Your so funny hugging Ken. Sounds like you two girls are having a blast. :-)

It's not nice to bring food if there's not enough to share. That's what my mama said anyway, but if I had that donut, I wouldn't share either. It looks like you're having so much fun! Go have more fun and more donuts!

It's downright cruel posting those donut pictures. I can almost taste it. But not quite. Glad you're having such a grand time.

You were not too far from me! Would love to know what Cider Mill you went to because the one we tried out here was not so hot.

Looks like you had fun and that donut...yummy!

I LOVE the Cozy Cafe and ate there often. I adore their quiche and those yummy rolls they serve with it. I don't remember the Cat's Meow. I will have to check it out next time I get to Michigan. The other place I really miss is Olga's Kitchen. Yummy.

Oh, I'm getting so homesick.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Oh and after reading Kathy's post -forget about "Ken" and stick with your romantic hubby. What a sweetie he must be.

Hello Sweet Ceekay!

Oh, so NOT fair! That donut looked pretty yummy! Did you have some hot cider with it! Hummm, think I might have to get up early tomorrow and hit the nobut store as soon as the doors open!

Thinking of you and wishing you a fun time with Kathy!
