Then it was on to

Cade's Cove....

It was a beautiful day, and I loved seeing the old homesteads.  I will never look at these pictures again without laughing because Tom was driving and driving to get us out, and it was like we entered the Twilight zone and were stuck there.  It is one of those things that you had to be there, but truly we were cracking up.  Well, maybe not Tom so much!

You didn't want to stay? LOL! it sure looks like another time and place and a whole lot more peaceful. Love that photo of you sitting in the church or is that a schoolhouse?

Great photos of your adventure! I've had the experience of the Twilight Zone episode while out adventuring. I watched too many scary movies back in the day so I always think the boogeyman is going to jump out of the woods. ;)
Sounds like a really fun day!

I'm always wondered what Cade's Cove is, especially since I have a grandson named Caden.

I've enjoyed seeing your pictures! Such a nice trip!

You are so blessed to have Tom and Rose as close friends, they are such a sweet couple.
