Here we go again blogspot!

I discovered a problem today....a few of my blogs on my blogroll are not automatically updating.  I went into some that haven't updated/posted in 3 months and guess what....some had posted.

Now, I am a blogroll girl.  Can anyone tell me if there is something I need to do to fix this?  It doesn't matter what search engine I use either.

I know another blogger who is having the same problem.  Thanks for any help!!

I am not sure why other blogs would not be updating...I hope someone can answer your question. Blessings!

Hi Ceekay! I hate when this happens. I don't know what to do to permanently fix it but this is what I do. I'm a blogroll gal too. Scroll down to the bottom of your blogs to the little tool symbol, like you're going to add a blog, and click on it. Then all those little boxes you have checked for icon, latest whatever, just uncheck one and click save. It doesn't hurt anything and your blog list will update itself. You may not have to do this for a while. It works for me and hope it will for you too.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I'm having the same problem! I'm a blog roll girl, too ... Brenda at Cozy Little House's blog takes nearly 24 hours to update, I've started just going there every midday to see what she's doing. Frustrating, isn't it?

I had the same problem if some of the ones I follow changed their url address. Maybe they changed to .net or .com or they changed something. I needed to update their blog addess in my follow list and now I have all of their updates. Hugs,Marty

It is such an annoyance! I went to my blogroll today and every single blog, including my own, had not updated. In a few hours, it sorted itself around. Wish I knew a fix.

I've had the same problem from time to time. One thing I've noticed is that if a blogger has changed to a .com website it doesn't update the same anymore. Not sure what to do about it.

Hi Ceekay, I don't know the answer to that question. However, I follow all my blogs in Feedly and it gives me a complete listing of all my blogs and shows when they update. It's a reader, and I started using it when Google Reader ended. Some people use Bloglovin' as their reader. Good luck!

I don't have a clue! All the 'new' stuff scares me because I am not good at techy stuff!! I do good to do what I do! Google+ seems so popular but I am not one for changing up! I get some blogs on my email and no other way. My sister wants me to make mine available by email - but I am too chicken to try it. Maybe I will ask my savy daughter how to do it! It helps to have family or friends who really know about things!!

That was happening to me for a while. Mine were not loading to Bloglovin'. After much research, I found that it was something in the code. I found code that I could copy and paste into my blog that fixed it. The way I found the info, was by typing what was going on into google, and threads popped up that gave the answer. It happened after I had changed my template. Might try googling??? Just a thought. Hope you are doing well!

I wonder about that probelem too Ceekay because my blog isn't updating in the blogrolls I've been linked with anymore for over 3 months now. Frozen on my first Halloween post and I don't know what to do about it because my blogfeed is working and my blog is updating in bloglovin. I asked he help forum of blogger/google but all they could tell me is that the blogrolls are updating themselves and their is nothing they can do about it. It's so sad because I already lost a lot of readers because of it. I can see it from the loss of comments and clicks to my blog in my blog statistics. It is quite frustrating I can tell you! If anyone finds something out about how that could be changed please let me now I'd be very grateful!
