Therapy!

Yep, that is what I need......serious therapy!

After I whittled down 7 Harvest boxes to 4....my HUBBY got inspired and brought 11 Christmas tubs for me to go through.

Thank God I LOVE HIM!

So, I am surrounded by Christmas.  My goal is 6 tubs....and I have been brutal, but somethings, even though I don't still decorate with it, I am finding it hard to part with it.

UGH!

sorry, no pic.....trust me, it is better that way!

Don't tell him but I probably have at least 30 tubs of Christmas decor!!! It was stored all over the house at the old place and thank GOD we have a LARGE storage area in this new house. We bought probably 12 shelving units for that storage area and maybe 8 more for the dish room!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. I am not ready to pare down yet. Best of luck to ya, Ceekay!!!

You are a strong woman, it takes fortitude to do weeding of boxes. What will you do with the weeded stuff? I feel light whenever I do some de-cluttering, I sorted old papers I've been keeping and threw out a lot recently.

The year I first did this, and I need to do it again, I took lots of photos of the released treasures and it seemed to help let it go. Wishing you the best! (Someone is going to be blessed. )

Busy busy gal! It's hard sometimes to get rid of things. I need to do it too but know exactly what you're talking about. You're in my thoughts and prayers for tomorrow.
Be a sweetie,

I'm not enjoying going thru my fall boxes and did find several things I could get rid of, but I know what you mean about tossing them! Why are we so sentimental?!! I dread getting the Christmas stuff down, tons of boxes. Yuk!

Oh- I hear you, Ceekay. It is hard to part with some things even though we know we will probably never use them again. xo Diana

I hope you have a good reason to part with your beloved treasures. That would be so hard to do! I have WAY too much.....I can't help myself! I do give some things to my daughters if they show the least bit interest in them. Poor Louis Dean! He just has to be more creative in packing it all away!

O am like you, keep everything! LOL
It won't be easy to get rid of some of you decor. :)

I need to do this, too, Ceekay! Truly I do! I'm proud of you for going through it all. We just finished the last of moving things from Mr. Magpie's mother's house, and the rest we are all selling. There is only so much room despite the fact that it has the magpie in me doing back flips!

xo,

Sheila

When you figure out how to purge your stuff, let me know. Maybe you can come over to see my Christmas decor. You would be shocked!!!! My husband is.

I need to go to therapy with you, dear friend! I have to do the same thing - and I'd better do it fast before my attic comes crashing through the ceiling.
