Best Husband award....self awarded!!  (But he is!)

Pixar parade at California Adventure...

Petrified Grandma going on a water ride...we went twice....we were soaked, but the kids were thrilled that this ride was "Grandma Approved"!

Mater towing...

Waiting for a ride...

 Watching the Parade!

a reminder not to eat too many Mickey ears!

You know you are getting old when you don't know who the characters are!

The fabulous Ferris Wheel!

My daughter and her family, my husband and I want to thank all of you dear blogging friends who made this trip possible.  The weather was perfect, we all were well, and had no problems at all.  We can NEVER thank you enough.

I must tell you that of all the food, shows, rides, characters....the absolute winner for me was Souring over California.   If you ever get the chance to take this ride, do it!  I was in tears the first time we went.....seeing God's wonders, you really feel alive!  And I am so thankful to be alive and experience Disney through my grandchildren's eyes.

Hi Ceekay! Oh, how I've enjoyed your wonderful Disney snaps - this post and the previous one! I love seeing all of your smiling faces! I know you had such a great time! Memories you'll never forget! We went many moons ago when our kids were little and I still smile when I think of it.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

You have created some wonderful memories for yourself and your family. They will always treasure this time.

We are planning to go to Disney in August (not the best time) with our son, dil and 2 little ones. I think this Nana will be the designated keeper of the 2 year old for a lot of the rides since she will be too little. I expect I will need an IV wine drip after that experience -- I wonder how her parents would feel about a tether...lol!

Ceekay, you have no idea how happy this makes me that you got to do this. I think I was as happy at you going than I would be if I had gone myself. :-) And I was happy to participate in Laura's fundraiser, too. To that end, I was able to give each of my dear ones a little nutkin ornament that Laura made, and when I see mine each Christmas, I will smile and think of what a special lady you are, how much you deserved having your dream realized, and of the wonders of blogging.

XO,

Sheila
