My Hubby Made It!

I asked by husband to make me a little fence for the side yard.  He got up one morning and had it made before I even got up.  He made the pickets.  I love it.

Everyone sees this as we live right across the street from the cluster mailboxes.

I had this little wheelbarrow.  I had to improvise for the pot...but hopefully the plant will fill in and you won't see that!

The rooster is from HobLob.  The carrot is for Easter.  My friend Kathy sent it to me a few years ago.  I would love one of those big plastic Easter eggs...but I will not pay $15.00 for one.

I had to add this picture.  On this side of the house I had all beautiful flowering bushes...2 gorgeous hybiscus.  I told you about the freeze.  This is what I have now.  Hopefully, they will grow big again.

If you look behind the fence there is a pail with flowers....that was a Bougainvilla...It died.  Now that is saying something, because they are hard to kill.....I haven't replaced it yet!

Hope you are having a great week.  I have to go for a CT scan tomorrow.  With all the health care changes, I can no longer go where I have for the past 5 years...so, I must go where they can't access my port.  I am NOT happy about it, but I have no choice.  I will talk to you all on Saturday!!

How cute! You and your hubby worked well together to make this charming vignette. I can imagine that your neighbors are enjoying it too when they go for their mail.
Good luck with your CT scan.

That is a wonderful fence. Your husband is very talented and very eager to make you happy, I think.

I am sorry that the healthcare changes are affecting you. Perhaps it can be righted around after this visit. If only practical good sense would prevail.

Love the little fence and the wheelbarrow Ceekay! The Hibiscus should be just fine. They even do well here. However the tropical ones are just annuals. Sorry about the Bouganvilla. They are so gorgeous. Best of luck with the cat scan. Sorry that you have to wander into new territory. Never much fun.
hugs,
Jann
