Morning....

I would normally say Good Morning, but I must admit, I am feeling so frustrated today.

I have been working outside, trying to get everything clean and pretty before we leave for Cali.  It was looking so good last Thursday.  Two days later it looks like a tornado hit.  And no, I am really not exaggerating much.  The big heavy metal benches down at the park are all over....I don't know if we got a micro burst or what, but since we are on the corner, we got hit bad.

My husband called today from work and I broke down and cried.  I am afraid to spend too much energy cleaning up the yard this close to our trip.  So when he gets home tonight, we will be out there, trying to repair the damage.  I don't think anything got broke, but I can't find a few yard things.  I looked at the neighbors yards, and didn't see them.  Oh well.....

So, I need to quit whining....sometimes, don't we just get tired of doing things over and over?  I know I do.

I wanted to post something pretty...so I will show my biggest Easter bunny.  He was a birthday present from my husband about 5 years ago from CB.  I love the material he is made from.

So please remember cute bunny today, and not grumpy Ceekay!  Have a great weekend....Talk to you on Monday!!

That is the cutest bunny ever! I want something that big...he's just perfect. What a great gift from hubby!

What a shame about your yard. Did you have a storm? I learned the hard way not too start my spring yard clean up too soon for the very same reasons. But please, do save your energy for your trip, the yard will be waiting when you get back.

Jane

Love this bunny. The material he is made of makes him look more realistic. I am a Cali girl born and raised here. I live in the north west now, up here in Shasta County. I just got back from southern Cali to visit my mom. She turned 98 on Feb. 14th. Have fun in Cali. The weather is looking good so far. Humble Abode.

Oh dear! How crappy is that?!?! Not the bunny- he is a cutie. Just don't overdo it and end up too tired to enjoy your trip. Get the worst of it and worry about the rest of it when you get home-you KNOW it will be there waiting for you- xo Diana

Ceekay, thanks for your precious comment today on my blog. I never knew about your loss, but honestly, if I could fly out there and spend a few hours with you, I would - I think we would just totally bond and "get" each other, don't you?! Y'all have fun in Cali. Oh, I'm in love your bunny, he is the consummate Easter Bunny for sure!

Hi Ceekay, I just saw on the news last night that Mesa got hammered by rain-thought glad we were there when we were(I'd be disappointed if the weather was crummy). We are having heavy snows today my friend so staying inside catching up on blogs. I think you go to So.Ca don't you? We lived for 56 yrs in No.Ca.-it is a pretty time of year to visit.
Hugs, Hang in there!

Hi Ceekay, I am very sorry to hear that your yard is so disheveled, it doesn't seem fair, does it, when we do the same thing over and over and it's only there to do again... but that's life, really.
I hope you get it put to rights before you take off for your trip!
Hugs, Cindy

I love your bunny and he is twice as handsome considering he was a gift from your husband.
It looks like your yardwork is getting the best of you...Sometimes, I guess it's the thought that counts. We have two HUGE Ponderosa Pines in our front yard and just when we get all the pinecones gathered the wind picks up and here they come again!
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Ceekay! I'm so sorry you got hit by the storm and it messed up your yard and all. Don't worry and hopefully your hubby can get it cleaned back up for you. Maybe this will make you feel better - my backyard smells like cat poop! :)
I don't even have a cat!
Be a sweetie,

Geez....can you tell I'm trying to catch up? I'm with you about that weather! We were out bumming around during all that craziness. Twice, hubby had to wade across a flooded parking lot, retrieve the car, and come up closer to a building to get me -- yep, I'm spoiled, but my little suede shoes would have been ruined! We were also caught in that down-pour of hail. We had a lot of wind here, too, but didn't lose anything. You know it's supposed to be in the 90's by the end of this week? Maybe Mother Nature is going through menopause!

Your bunny is adorable, by-the-way!

Try to relax and let the Magic Kingdom do it's job!
