Creating Altered Art

I am really trying to learn the art of Altered Art.  And believe me, it is an ART!  How to layer...how much to add....I am just a beginner.  But I like to try.
I made this mini journal for Karen at Some Days are Diamonds.  I hope she will think I am learning!!

Seems as though I have been in a creative mood lately!  It has a calming effect I think!  Have a great days ladies.  Blogger is S L O  W today, and some of my comments just are not going through.  I will try again later.

Joining Debra for Vintage Inspirations Friday.

Ceekay, The gripper strip is on the rubber pad (keeps it from sliding). The pad is under mattress and on top of the boxspring. You lift up the edge of the mattress and the gripper is right there on the edge. Like you, I could never find bedskirts long enough and I detested the sliding.
My supplier changed her website. I have emailed her for info about purchasing the kits in case anyone is interested.
I hope it OK to answer here. Your email address was "no reply"

CeeKay, I really love the job you did on the journal. It looks nicely layered to me. I do not have that talent but certainly have it mastered. Love lace and pearls. Hugs, Ginger

Ceekay,
It is oh so darling! I love layered art also. I have never heard it called that. I usually call it epherma. Is it the same thing? Either way, you definately have a talent for it. I am working on a project for a give away using similar techniques. Always takes longer than you think. Your friend will LOVE her gift!

Ceekay, this is just too cute for words. I'm not sure my hands would have the patience for something so tiny right now...what talent you have. I'm so glad you stopped in to see the changes to the shop. I had a ball redoing everything..
