You are Cordially Invited to....

a Royal Tea hosted by Laura at Decor to Adore.

Get out the silver and the lace...royalty is coming to visit.  Earl Gray tea with one lump or two...which would you prefer?

So here was my challenge to myself.  Use what I had.  The Royals may have money to throw, I don't!  The only items I bought were the lace placemats.  And yes, I really did have the carriage before....it was used at my birthday party 2 years ago.

Goblets:  Dollar Tree
Cream flatware, Bling Napkin Rings, Mirror coasters: Target
Napkins:  Anna's Linens
Carriage:  Homegoods
Various china cups:  Estate sales
Silver Tea Set:  25th Anniversary Gift.
Lace Placemats:  Everything 99 cents
Teapot spoons: Gift from Marty
Glass plates:  Walgreens

Tiera:  I was born with it!!! (just kidding!)

I hope you enjoy your visit....please come back and visit....(and as my husband has dubbed me):

HRH Queen Spoiled
Also joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch - Tablescape Thursday

I don't know what just happened.....when I first started to leave my comment it said I wasn't "signed in". I've never been signed in that I know of! SO, I went back and clicked Comments again and it opened! I hate computers! Pretend I just whispered that to you....I don't want my computer to get mad and quit. :)

LOVE your royal tea setting! I think you did an amazing job pulling that together from what you had on hand...cept the placemats. LOVE that carriage..with the crown!! That was perfect!

Hope all is well with you!!!

I'd love a cup of Earl Grey (my fave) at this lovely table! That carriage with the tiara is the perfect centerpiece for a Royal Tea! Very pretty placemats, teacups and I especially love those little spoons with the teapots on the end. Its wonderful that you could create at tea-scape as lovely as this by using things you already owned!
