Some Christmas Presents

This is going to be my last post for a couple of days.  I have company coming....WHO?  None other than Karen from Some Days are Diamonds.  So I am going to be busy!! Can you say PAR_TAY??  But I wanted to show some of my Christmas presents before it is next Thanksgiving!

Rose from A Hint of Home gave me this silver C for a picture....and some beautiful Christmas napkins which are packed away for next year.
My daughter gave me this bracelet...I love anything that says Grandma!

Karen sent me this fabulous altered frame.  I want to put a pic of California in it...but I haven't got that done yet!
 Look at all the detail!
Her gorgeous handmade rose with the vintage jewelry....
Look at the old door lock!
My friend Candy who STILL does not have a blog gave me something I have wanted for YEARS!  an old butter churn...it is a Dazey.  I LOVE it!  Look at that glorious paddle!
Marty, this is a pie safe top...so can I play this week too?  Tabletop Tuesdays at Marty's!

But my absolutely favorite gift.......
My husband had this pendant made for me...it is our saying, One Life, One  Love, Always and Forever.  Yep, we were both crying like babies over this one!  he is a Keeper!  I did get a few more things...a gorgeous ring that I just keep wearing and a sweater dress....I figured I better enjoy it while I was "skinny" enough to legally wear one!

So, I will bring you up to date later in the week about all our fun....can you tell I am excited????

I do not know why blogger has the two confused. When I went to your blog and then clicked on mine it came to the right blog but why it is listing my other posts I don't know. I can see that the Jan. days post comes up too so for some reason they are both posting. Blogger has not been able to help me with this so far. Thanks for your patience while I try to figure this out.

I wanna see the ring!!! :)

Actually, I love all of your gifts! That butter churn is quite the deal!!! I also love the necklace your sweet hubby had made for you....and I LOVE the altered art bottle you made! I'm very impressed with your artistic talents!

Hope your 2011 is going well thus far! It's very snowy and very cold in KC. I shoveled our drive yesterday in 12 degree temps.....not fun at all. I FINALLY got out (first time in three days) to hit the grocery store a bit ago.....me and all of the other "oldies"! :) Now I have to put it all away.

Take care.....L, Dana

The necklace is truly a wonderful sentiment from a loving husband. I don't know if I could take it off.
Loved seeing you both and wish it could have been a longer visit.
The time we had we jammed as much fun as we could into it.
Have fun the next few days.
