Did you think I disappeared off the planet???

No, but I was feeling like I was in another person's life!  I have had the most AMAZING week!  It all started on Wednesday when Karen @ Some Days are Diamonds came to visit.  She walked in the door, dropped the suitcases and off to Hobby Lobby we went.
The next day we got up early and picked up Cindy @ Applestone Cottage who had flown in to visit her son.  We drove to the cutest shop in Phoenix, Not Too Shabby and shopped!

Jamie @ Mimi's Corner, Me, Karen, Cindy, Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life, Liz @ Rose Vignettes, Laura @ Decor to Adore and her daughter The Fashionista.  This was at an Olive Garden where I am sure the staff is probably having some group therapy after we sat TALKING for hours!!  I am sure I heard applause from the other guests as we left!
I am so hiring Marty as my photographer....I love this picture!!!

Here are the Beautiful Blogging Buddies....
Since I was feeling like a queen, I had to try on this gorgeous and HEAVY crown!
Then we went to the most incredible fabric store.....rows and rows like this and very economical...or cheap as I would say!!
 Still talking even while paying!!

On Friday Karen and I went to a class on soldering.  I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to be able to participate in this.  I have never done anything like this....it was SO MUCH FUN!!

 The food was fantastic....
Look at this table with the Shabby Tablecloth....
 Chandies everywhere....

Oh, I will never question the price of soldered items again!  It was fun, exciting, and challenging!!
This is me with the famous Terri from Terry Brush designs, our teacher.  See her yummy necklace.  I would try to make one, but uh, NO!
This was our project on Saturday.  A silver bracelet...we made from Silver wire the entire bracelet.  Mine is the 3rd from the left...DO NOT focus on my nails....they are so needing to be done...I am in LOVE with my bracelet!

Well, all good fun must come to an end eventually and the week flew by.  Karen left this morning.  She is the funnest and sweetest person.  I threatened to go back with her to Cali...for a week, but I have doctor appointments this week.

I will be back after I take a nap and get my nails fixed!  Talk to you soon!!

You had a whirlwind couple of days, Ceekay. It all sounds like SO much fun. I love seeing all those familiar faces {even though I have only met Cindy!}. I know all of you just had a ball! Cindy did her best to talk me into coming, but you know how much I love my snow! ;-D

Glad you liked the soldering class. In high school I worked in a factory and soldered airplane parts. It was really sort of fun!

Get some rest now!

XO,
Jane

Is that that fabric store that Marty talks about. I think we were maybe going to go there but if you guys just went that wouldn't be fun for you. We could so a little thrifting or something instead

Hey Ceekay,
I had a blast!
I just got home about an hour ago. Three hours of flying and then 2.5 hours of driving so it's been a long day!
I so wish I could have gotten over to see your house but hopefully I can next visit!
Now you and Karen need to start planning that trip to visit me!
Oh, I did get to see Linda on Saturday and that was so fun too!
Well I better start unpacking,
Hugs Friend,
Cindy

I hope I didn't wear you out! All that driving even wore me out! What a fast and fun time.I can't believe it is over!
Thank you for allowing me to camp out in your home for 5 days - and thank you to your adorable son who very graciously gave up his room for me (even if he did eat my chicken:) ) and Len - well! What can I say? He is just one of the nicest - kindest - generous men I've ever met. (Even if we did have to fight over the bill.) You truly got yourself a gem there. LOVE HIM!
So - see? Soldering isn't that bad! Now I want to see what's ahead for you! You are going to dazzle us all with your new found talent! :)
Big love and hugs my friend!
:) Karen

The best kind of blogging is when you get to hang out in person! I understand you are going to see Mary from Colorado soon. We get together occassionally (and our husbands, too.), but haven't seen her since October. It will be another fun day for you. Sally
