1st project of 2011!

Well, I probably shouldn't say the total 1st project, because it was a PROJECT putting all the Christmas away!
Last year when there was a meme to post your projects of 2010, I felt soooo left out.  I did a few things, but our home isn't getting painted, and I am not redecorating any room.  I didn't even do that many crafts.  So I made up my mind right then and there that I would not be left out again.  I am an only child and we have ISSUES!!

Last year I did show some altered bottles I did for gifts.  But I ignored the rule of making one for MOI!  I had the bottle forever, so I thought, now is good of a time as ever.

Now, I know that to some of you veteran altered specialists, this is very amateur....but I like how it turned out.

I am going to try to do at least one project a month.  My husband shakes his head....he doesn't get it, but then again, he says I have ONE main project!!!  to stay well.  OK, I count that as a biggie too!!

I too have a project that started but feel my creation cannot compare to the ones I have seen here in Blogland.
Your bottle is very pretty and you did a great job.

The bottle is beautiful, Ceekay!! Don't feel bad about projects, I hardly did anything of the sort last year but I got a lot of inspiration from those that did. And I agree your health is #1.

I do look forward to your monthly projects and hope I can do a bit more myself. Your bottle is a great atart!

XO,
Jane

I love your creativeness, Ceekay! It is really very pretty & love the button on top to finish it off. Last year I proudly 'leaped' into a bottle revamping ... it was fun!

While I am at it, would you be so kind to share with me where you contacted the place to create a book out of your blogging pages, please. I remember your sharing a bit of this & you were very pleased.

Hope all is going well with you ... have a beautiful day.

LOVE the bottle! A project a month sounds so doable and creativity can have healing powers! Now young lady, don't ever let me see you comparing your wonderful self or creations to anything or anyone else in the land of blog. It and you are wonderfully, gloriously, and uniquely made, beautiful! Have yourself a wonderful weekend!

Ceekay you were so sweet to add me to your blog list and something was wrong with the feed so you will notice my other blog couponchallenged on your list of blogs. The feed is now correct and you can change it to sunnysimplelife.blogspot.com if you want to. Thank you so much. You are sweet to do that.

I like how they came out too!

I should pick some projects and accomplish something! Right now I am trying to figure out new window treatments for the den. I had the furn recovered, so I have to start all over with the windows!
And I agree with your dh...you have to stay well!
Have fun with all the bloggers!
And no, I didn't feel neglected...the holidays are a busy time , my visiting suffered too. Now I must go out and shovel the snow that fell. Oh my aching back!

Hi Ceekay! Wow! I could not even attempt some of those projects so to me you are a Pro! :-) I just wanted you to know too that I will keep you in my prayers and hope that this year will bring healing. Thanks so much for linking this up to the Inspiration Friday party!

Sigh. You just crack me up.
I like the bottle. You did good. You know the only thing I might add to it is - tie a knot in some thick thread in the top button. Buttons have thread right? :)
I need to go pack ....
