Our Main Bathroom

When I was planning the decor of our home four years ago, I told my friends that I was doing a gold and black bathroom. They did not hold back on telling me that it was too Vegas and I should rethink that plan.....I am glad I stuck to my guns!

This is now one of the rooms visitors comment the most favorably about. They love the black and gold!!

The shower curtain is actually a drape and 2 valances from Anna's Linens. I found that first!

The plaque above the towels is a modern version of the Fruit of the Spirit.
I just love these graphic prints....found at Ross for 9.99 a piece.
I have learned the REAL meaning of this phrase!!

You know my love of clocks! Even in this room! I found the soap dispensers at Penny's. They were a bit pricey - but they have both the gold and the brushed nickel color that matches the light fixtures and faucets.

Oh, Ceekay, your bathroom is beautiful! You really do know how to decorate. We're redoing our bathroom at the moment and I'm not sure what to do when it's finished. I have always thought the bathroom was the hardest to decorate.
Have a lovely Sunday,
Shelia ;)

I love this bathroom. It looks very elegant. And the black doesn't make it look small either. You did a great job pulling everything together. Would love to do mine that color - but I have green counter tops!!

Oh Ceekay, it is so elegant. Love the curtain, and that tiny clock is just about the prettiest little clock I've seen. I bet you have some friends who have had to eat their words after telling you this would look too Vegas! laurie

Wow, Ceekay--Your bathroom is gorgeous!!! Love the colors and towels--spectacular!
I have to tell you about that pumpkin pic--I had 2 on hand to use for Halloween to make a tag and guess what--the woman who runs the challenge used my first one as her example...So, I was scurrying all over to find it--and yippee! I did! But, I almost gave up so glad it appeared....
Sending hugs your way,
Cindy
