A Late 40th Celebration

Last June, Kathy and Sandy celebrated their 40th anniversary. We didn't know what to do to send them a gift, so we told them when they came to AZ, we would treat them to a nice dinner.

We took them to a favorite place of ours....Le Chalet.

This is our appetizer. It is a bacon, swiss cheese, and onion tarte.
Here is the chef preparing the beef and rice tableside. It comes with 4 different sauces, and really, it is hard to pick a favorite. The meat is so juicy and tender.

Kathy and Sandy with their dessert, a lemon and sugar crepe. Us?? Oh, chocolate and banana...definately!

The meal is one of the best and so different than any other we have ever had. They really enjoyed it! You definately need to stop there when you come to the Phoenix area!!

Bentley, who does not like strangers, absolutely fell in love with Kathy. And she loved him back. Glad he stayed with me!!!
I am so sad that they had to go home so soon.....I keep trying to convince them to snowbird here....they hate the snow! But you know, grandkids....they are a big pull home!!
What am I doing now??? Catching up on some rest...and then whoo hoo....doctors next week. But I sure have lots of fun memories to think on.

Hi Ceekay, Looks like you had a blast with your friends. I hope this finds you doing well. I'm so far behind on my blogging. There just isn't enough hours in the day anymore. Do you think that's a sign I need to slow or something? lol
To answer your question about the greenery in the one picture. I believe you're talking about the piece on the chest in the entry? It's a free flowing greenery, almost 5' long. Easily shaped and doesn't shed like alot of greenery does. I sell it in the shop for $23.95. It's perfect like I displayed it their or above mirrors or pictures. The greenery hanging above the mirror is a different style and sells for $18.95. I hope this answers your question darling.. hugs ~lynne~

Hope your weekend goes well.
