Our Bedroom

I know I have shown my bedroom recently, but I wanted to join in on Show your Cottage Monday at Cielo's. It is very hard to get good pictures because we have a lot of windows, but I hope you can sort of get the feel of the room. We love our bedroom outfit. We waited 30 years to be able to get a nice wood set.

I wish I could get the real color of the shades on the lamps. They are actually brick colored when goes perfect with the bedspread.

I like a few pillows!!

The boy and girl picture I have had since who knows?? Underneath is an Always Kiss Me Goodnight sign.

Bentley's know, it really is HIS house!! This btw, is a really good capture of the colors in the room.

These wall hangings came from Kirkland about 4 years ago. There are two on the other side of the armoire. All different patterns.

I would have pillows on this too, but my husband uses this for putting on his uniform....he wants it clear! The collage of pictures I did before our 25th wedding anniversary...all pictures from our first 25 years together. You know, it isn't easy finding pics of just the two of us after having kids!!

I have to show my kitty doorstop. My cousin Betty bought this for me longggg before I was married. It has moved with me many many times and it is precious to me. I did once have a real kitty. She was precious, her name was Felicia. The only cat I ever had besides this one!!

Our bedroom isn't very large....but we do love it. I think it has a very luxurious feel. Hope you enjoyed it.

Have a great week bloggettes!!

Hi Ceekay!

Your bedroom is very grand and regal looking, yet you have made it comfortable and cozy too.

Ceekay I think your bedroom is such a beautiful place!!! You have created an amazing haven for you and your husband. WOW, the bedroom suite is gorgeous! I adore that headboard.
I loved your previous post about your closet. I have been trying to work up the nerve to clean my closet for the past 2 wks and haven't gotten it done yet. Just knowing you tackled yours recently is almost enough to get me in there. Why do I let it get sooo bad??? I would so love to be one of those people who can have it tidy always, but I'm not.
Thank you so much for the beautiful message you left for me today. I hold it dear.

Your bedroom is beautiful! and isn't it all the more precious, for having waited 30 years to get what you want? We waited 30 years to get the house that I had wanted since I was about 10!

Good things come to those who wait, and don't expect it all at once. Your bedroom is gorgeous, and a lovely reflection of the care and attention you give it.

Best of luck, and best wishes, Cass

Your bedroom is lovely, Ceekay...I ♥ your beautiful furniture in there! Very peaceful & restorative looking.

I sooooooooooo need to purge my closet but hate to spend an entire week in there. Maybe once the snow flies, I'll be more content to be inside. Your summers out there are like our winters here...making us house bound.

I was glad to read you are feeling better, Honey. Keep up the good work!

Love your room Girl! It's like . . . perfect.
And I still want to run from the other end of the hall and take a flying leap onto that bed with all those pillows. I know - I know. No running in the house and no jumping on the bed!

I LOVE your bedroom, everything about it!!! AND I'm with you on pillows. we can NEVER have too many!!! My Dad and Mom are always in a heated debate on HER PILLOWS, hahaha... They are 85 and it is TOO CUTE to see them in their "DEBATE", my Dad's on the couch and he's put ALL her pillows up on the back of the couch, "SHE MUMBLES something" and they all tumble down on him. I swear she has powers, hehe....
Thank you for letting us PEEK into your boudoir... "It's GORGEOUS"!!!
Love and Hugs, Donna

Hi Ceekay,
Dan and I were just talking about when were going to AZ.
I think we're waiting until Feb. when Karen is coming. I know you all have been steaming and we've been hot too. But I know we're in for a change soon.
Anyhoo, I can't wait to get back to Phoenix to see all my buddies!
