Grandma day at School!

Yesterday was Grandparent's day at my grandson's school. I was so happy that I felt well enough to go. It was so cute. I took lunch, McDonalds of course, for him and I. We ate in the cafeteria. Then my GS took me to see his classroom. He is getting so big. He is reading now and they had a Book Fair, so of course, Grandma bought him some books.
I thought this was so cute....I bought him a book to draw Robots. I told him he needed to draw me one and bring it when he comes over on Thursday (Thanksgiving). He stopped in his tracts and seriously said, Grandma....Thursday was Yesterday! I laughed and told him he was correct, but there was another one coming and he was coming to our house! That was OK with him!
He picked out this huge book about outer space. It was very eye catching....but when he opened it up...he looks at me and shakes his head....TOO MANY WORDS Grandma!! I told him, you will get there!

It was a wonderful memory making time.
Then I went shopping. I got a little more of my Christmas shopping done. Bits at a time. I came home and was done for the day!

My turkeys are anxiously awaiting the big day! Grocery list is made. I am the lucky one, my husband is doing the shopping! I am going to tea on Monday. I know, don't hate me!! Candy, Amy and I are finally all getting together and going to the English Rose Tea Room. I can barely stand the wait!
Wow, I am wordy today. Have a wonderful Weekend....see you all on Monday....

Good Morning CeeKay...
Happy Saturday sweetie. I love this post. Your little grandson is just precious. He looks like he was having so much fun with you. I love it when they have the book fairs. What a wonderful way to spend some money, for our babies to keep reading. I spend some every year at 3 different book fairs.

Love your turkey, and I am so thrilled you are going to tea on Monday. Enjoy the good days. Don't forget to wear your tea necklace.

I am working on bracelets at this time, and when I get them finished I will be sending you one. These are red or green for the holidays, do you have a preference? My creation. One of a kind. I know you will love it.

Take care sweetie. I think of you in prayer every day. I am still waiting to see your black tree. Mine is up and decorated. I am working on my living room today. I will be posting soon.

Country hugs and much, much love...Sherry

What a cutie pie that grand boy of yours is!! Bet you guys were the envy in the cafeteria as you nibbled away on your McDonald's food! :)

I was so glad to see you felt well enough to attend lunch with him..I'm certain you made his day (and yours, too!)

How lucky that you get together with blogging buddies! If I were closer, I'd crash your gathering next time.

I have given thought to organizing something similar in my area..I'm finding a few more folks with blogs who live sorta close!

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. I just found out we're having it at our house... so I have lots of cleaning to do!

L, Dana
