Feel free to say it...I have lost my MIND!

No really, it is fine. My hubby has said it. The salesclerk at Walmart said it. My girlfriend Candy, well, she just doesn't get it. So, go ahead, shake your head. Ceekay has blogged one post too many. She has lost touch with reality....

But I LIKE IT!

All last Christmas I searched for this. I Googled...I shopped...no luck.

But I found it! and I bought it!

My BLACK Christmas tree! Oh, the possibilities....black and white??, black and hot pink??, black and leopard??, hmmm....don't know yet....

Ceekay's doing the happy dance...la, la, la....
***added*** no, the tree is not a Halloween tree. It has red lights. I wish they were white....but the cord is black too. I don't know which way I am going to decorate yet, but red will have to be in the picture! And it wasn't clearance. Regular stock. I see I am not the only crazy blogger out there! I KNEW this would be a hit!!! Now if I can only be brillant enough to decorate it!
**** Thank you, I am feeling much better now. Woo hoo, a whole week without treatment!****

Oohh La La!
I am loving the french them CeeKay. Possibilities are endless. OMG where did you find it? Was it in a clearance with the Halloween or what? I would love to have one. Please let me know.

I hope you are feeling better today. Remember one day at a time. That is all that you can do for now. Take care of yourself.

Your necklace went out in the mail today. Maybe Monday you will have it. I can't wait to see what you think.

Yea for you, Ceekay! I think you will have lots of fun with this, and I can see a polka dot ribbon on that tree... or, if you can find it at Michael's or JoAnn's fabric, this red ribbon that has black dalmation spots. You could even do a tree for BAILEY! Little faux white bones hanging from ribbons. I can see ALL sorts of possibilities. You go, girl!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Well, since it is black, it doesn't have to be a Christmas tree. You could always add some different lights and not plug the red ones up. I ordered a circular tree from Penney's. I'm hoping it looks good. It is still in the box. They have rotating trees, half trees, pencil trees and corner trees. Can't wait to see how you decorate this one, first.

Ceekay, (I think I've got it right this time. LOL) I've not been at the computer much in recent weeks. Was out of town, busy with personal obligations, life in general seemed to take the time. So I'm trying to catch up and make some visits tonight. Just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts. I hope this round of treatment is going well for you. I admire your courage and spirit.
Have to say that I really do like your black tree. I'll be eagerly awaiting a post of what your creative spirit comes up with for decorations.
Take care and know that friends across Blogville are keeping you close in their thoughts. Hugs ~ Sarah

Hi Ceekay, Oh I love it to pieces. I can see so many ways to decorate it. From toile to tuscan and silvers with red. Oh my!! How wonderful. I can't wait to see how you design your magic on this tree.

I found a pink 4 foot with pink lights for my shabby room. So I can relate to how you feel when you find what you are looking for.
Have fun!!

Can you replace the red lights with white ones? Don't they just pop out of the sockets?

How fun is this going to be! You have to make sure you post it decorated. I like the leopard idea!

Black is my favorite color to wear, and I love black and bright yellow, black and red, black and lime green, black and shocking pink! I'm also working on a black and white photo album with touches of all these colors right now.

No, I don't think you are crazy!
