Tablescape Thursday and Some Other Stuff!

Wonderful Thursday Tablescape at Susan's is here. I finally got the Easter items packed away and on to some more spring like decorations.

This little creamer and sugar is part of a child's silver Tea set. I love to use it when it is just hubby and I or a girlfriend over for lunch...it holds just the right amount of cream and sugar cubes.

Just a simple setting for two today. Olive green placemat matches the leaves in plate and napkin.

Napkin rings are from Pier One on sale a while back. You have seen the Laura Ashley napkins before. And my good old standby gold flatware.

Hubs surprised me again with this Sorelle tea set. All the rosebuds. It is very delicate.

The little spoon that came with the set....

The top of the cup resembles a heart shape.

Here is the precious tea pot for 2!

My mother's Hull vase. I know it isn't a rose pattern, but the colors are exact of the pink, cream and green.

My dollare tree rose dishes. Don't bother looking....they are about 4 years old and I never seen them again.

I changed the console in the eating area to chickens....hard to get picture with the light from good ole AZ sun!

Well, Nester, there is some good ole fashion fakery!

Added some CB birdies!

This little bee candle from from a wedding shower I went to. It is just too cute and nope, I am not lighting it!!

My large Apothecary jar with a small nest and seed packets.

The tablescape is very beautiful and elegant! Love the dainty tea cup!

Cute rooster vignette! I collected roosters and chickens years ago, but gave them all away :-( Now I wish I had them back!

I like the apothecary jar with the seed packets and nest!

What a very pretty table you set! the Hull vase is a true treasure from you Mother; how lovely to have it. Love the unique tea set; charming. And I was at Dollar Tree yesterday -- I'd have noticed if they had those rose dishes! (they mostly had white).

Thanks -- lovely table! Cass

Those child's sugar & creamer are so unusual with their large handles. I bet they are just the right size to use. Always enjoy checking out everyone's roosters - yours are charming. Sally

ADORABLE Ceekay!

Thank you so much for your prayers for my girl. I love her so much and I DO trust God, but I keep trying to handle it myself. :-(

Those plates did not really come from the dollar store! They are so pretty. Love the pretty rose tea set, and you're right, the Hull vase goes beautifully with your tablescape. Those napkins are perfect with the china too. All of your vignettes on your tables are just lovely. I love those seed packages in the pretty jar. laurie

Ceekay,

I have my BIL and a nephew battling lung and brain cancer right now... I just want to send you so much love! (courage, hope and everything else you need!)
I am so sorry I didn't read a post of yours where you talked about it...probably the ones in between. I enter your site from my bloglist not from your comments usually and hadn't seen your other blog.
I want you to know you will be in my prayers.
My post before the current one of my husbands request for his B-cake was a tribute to my sister that beat brain cancer...for along time. She had been given only 2 months 2 live.
So the terrible *C* has been and is part of our family.

Bless your heart!
Sincerely, Beth
