Sunday Favorites

Chari at Happy to Design is hosting a new meme, Sunday Favorites. This is where we get to publish a previously posted post. The idea here is that some of us miss some of the older posts. I LOVE this idea and especially for a Sunday!

A day of rest! Bring up something we already worked on.

So today I am posting one of my past favs...hope you enjoy!

Ok, I tried, really I did. I planned on doing my Show and Tell, I even got it ready. I mean, it is almost Friday...but I couldn't wait. After I got done squealing, I had to take the pictures, and I had to share them. I know you understand!Hubby needed pop (yes, I am originally from Michigan, and we say pop)...anyways back to the subject....so we stopped at the grocery store. He says, "Do you want to come in?" She says, "Well, ok, if you insist. I will just check the clearance table".There they were. Take me home. I heard it plain as day......

These itty bitty little pink rose floating candles. (Breathe....)

I put them in my new cup with the pink roses......

Ok, I just cannot even find words.......Too cute!

Then this afternoon look what came.....2 dozen...I could barely get them in the vase....
My husband is just too good to me.

I am all worn out. This excitement is just about too much. And I didn't even tell you about what I found at the Dollar Tree. That will have to be another day. Squeal overload!

PS. I bought the candles at Fry's Market Place. There are 24 in the package for $3.99. Fry's is owned by Kroger, for those who would like some candles. Glad you all like them!

Hi Ceekay...

My friend, I'm so pleased that you decided to participate in "Sunday Favorites"...thank you so much!!! I think this new Sunday meme is going to be alot of fun...there are just so many pretty things to see...

Which leads me to my comment about this wonderful post that you chose to share with all of us once again!!! I just had to giggle when I read the word "pop"! Here in Colorado, we call it pop but I lived in Texas for many years and they just looked silly at ya when you said "pop"! Hehe!!! It's soda water down there...hehe! Anyway, I just love those little floating rose candles...they're precious...and you've displayed them so beautifully in that gorgeous tea cup! Sure would be pretty on a tablescape!

OMG...your roses were absolutely gorgeous!!! What a dear, sweet son that you have! Ohhh my, and like if it isn't fabulous enough getting a dozen of beautiful roses...he got you two dozen!!! Mama, I think you raised that boy well!!! hehe!!!

Well my friend, thank you again for joining in with "Sunday Favorites"...I really enjoyed this post!!!

Warmest wishes,
Chari

Love your teacups! I have a tall cloche like the one on your header and might have to borrow your idea of stacking teacups and saucers in it= how clever!!

Those teeny floating candles are so adorable and sweet! And so beautiful in the cup -- perfect pairing.

How nice of your husband to send roses thanking you for being a good mother! (I think it was your husband, right? If I've got that wrong, sorry!)

Nothing I like more than getting flowers!
Thanks for sharing... Cass
