Santa is a Friend of Mine!

Today for Trim a Tree Thursday at Southern Hostess, I thought I would share my Santas. I enjoy having my Santas in the family room where the grandchildren can see them. My Living Room has no santas because I want to keep that more directed to the real reason of Christmas - Jesus. But I am a Santa lovin girl, so here they are.... This santa stands about 3 feet tall. I believe he is gorgeous. I love his face, beard, all the toys in his hands. Notice the sled?

He is almost my favorite....

This santa is standing guard it looks like by his sleigh.

This old world santa is telling us to shhhh, it's a secret!

My grandchildren love this one, he tells the Night Before Christmas story...the whole thing. His eyes open and close and he laughs, HO, HO, HO. So cute.

This santa is carrying his list...to check who was naughty or nice.

Do you see your name???

This is my only all fabric santa

Here is my favorite. My daddy gave this to me when I was eight. He passed the following year. This is the most precious Santa I have...

Oh, I wish I was a better photographer. This Santa is so cute with his lamp.

Ok, so now....I have to inject that Rose and Kathy can now laugh. I KNOW what I said...no more decorations. But really....he spoke to me....can't you hear him???

He is a baker Santa. Oh...I could not stand it.

Look at his chef hat...cute, was that what called??

Or maybe the gingerbread house he is holding???

Nope, it was the real buttons on his cuff....I could not resist.

Look at the gingerbread man cooking in his basket. Ok, I will try...no more...

You believe me .......right???
***Ok ladies....I got the Baking Santa at HomeGoods. Please try to drive carefully....He was the only one at my HomeGoods, so hopefully, since most of us are in different states and cities...you will be able to find him. I KNEW he was precious.****

I love all of your Santas! When I was a little girl, my grandmother had a special Santa Claus that she got out every year...We would play with him, hide him and adore him. When she died, that was the only thing I wanted of her Christmas decor. I am so happy to still have him....He is so special to me even though he is a raggedy mess. Maybe I can put him on my blog next week!:) But your grandchildren will always remember your Santas.......

I love all your Santas but the one that tells the Night before Christmas is my favorite! The Santa you saw at my blog, was the last thing my father ever bought me(although I was much older then you when he passes). He also died the following year. Makes them extra special, doesn't it? Blessings to yoy

Hi Ceekay! I think my fav is the story telling one, But they are all precious! Especially the one from your dad!

The "not buying any decorations this year" is MUCH harder than I thought. It is so hard to look at your "stuff" and not want to add to or make it better... I think you know what I mean... : )
