It's Show and Tell Time

at Kelli's. Thought I would show a bit more of various decorations around our home. Please come on in....

This is our nativity set in the Living Room.

I love this little Nativity. I believe I got it from Sunday School when I was a little girl.

Another miniature Nativity. This one is pewter.

Our tree in the Living Room. I found out after taking numerous pictures, that it is nearly impossible to take a picture of the tree to do it justice. It is so pretty with all the white and silver. I always have a large nail on our Christmas tree - signifying Christ's crucifiction - the reason Jesus came to earth as a Baby.
I am so anxious to see everyone's decorations, so I am off to go look at other blogs.

Your nativity scenes are really nice. I like how the little one is from when you were little. And from Sunday school. I like that. I agree about taking pictures of the CHRISTmas trees. I can't seem to get the shot that actually shows how pretty it really is. Lights and all.

Your decorations are all gorgeous! I showed a Nativity too, I'll share lots more when hubby gets the decorations out of the attic! I probably have 50 or so Nativities. I like yours and haven't seen some like those.

Wish I could visit your house for real, bet it's beautiful!

P.S. - I forgot to mention the nail. I have a big nail that the church gave us one Easter. I keep it out all the time, but never thought about putting it on the tree, good idea!

Hope you are up and out of the house soon! I'm battling some kind of crud myself-ick! I like your nativity collection (especially the tiny one from your childhood). The nail is such a fantastic and meaningful idea. As my pastor always says -- don't leave Jesus in that manger; He came for so much more! What a great reminder of why Christ was born!

Blessings,
Linda
