Happy Sunday Everyone!

I did my best to keep up with all my comments and the Garland and Kelli's Show and Tell. I tell you, this has been a busy week. I am nearing the end of this horrible whatever illness I had...finally! And beginning this past Thursday I have been going every night to our Church's Dinner Theatre production. I must admit, I am a bit tired, but I enjoy being in it this year, because for the two past years I was on chemo and couldn't participate. So even though this ole body is complaining, I am thankful! I have Sunday night to go. Then...well you know how it is this time of year...something almost every day. I thought I would show a bit of my vintage ornies. They are pretty worn but I cannot part with them.

This little angel is an old tree topper. I thought of her today when I opened a Christmas card from my Aunt Esther...and all the front said was Hallelujah! I just love that card.
One of the songs our choir sang in our production was One Quiet Night. It speaks of the greatest gift is to have one quiet night to reflect on what is the real meaning of this time of year - Jesus' birth. I wish and pray that for all my blogging friends this week. Take time to really look and think on the Nativity and the story behind it. I know I am going to do that this week also.
Until then...Happy Sunday!

Such pretty old ornaments. I love the older ones.

It's a great idea to have a quiet night at this time of the year. We are all so busy and it is nice to make the special time for this special season.

Love your old ornies. We were fortunate to find 3 boxes of 12 old ornies at an antique shop on Saturday...$13.50 for all of them. I'll be posting about them, maybe tomorrow or Wednesday.

I had to post about a couple of other Antique-ing Finds today!!

sorry I haven't been around much lately...sooooooooo busy and gone, gone, gone ALOT!!!

Ceekay, You're very welcome for the card and recipe cards in Jan's card exchange! I'm happy to meet you!
Two things we have in common: I have to wear my earrings every day too and I'm also a cancer survivor! 13 years!
Blessings to you!!!

Isn't it the truth, same thing I needed here - and I got mine last Saturday night at church. So peaceful and relaxing, and time to reflect on the Lord.

I love old ornaments, we have some, the oldest being your mother's. However, we have some from my Aunt Ellen and Uncle Harold (dad's side) - that they got us, which are now turning the corner past 30 years old...that makes them old, doesn't it?

John and I were reminiscing on Pedde get togethers at Grandpa and Grandma's. I sure miss those times. We were lucky, kiddo, so many people (my husband included) don't have those kind of memories.

Wish I could hear Grandpa singing "Silent Nacht" just one more time. It makes me cry just thinking of it - but they're good memories.

I love your vintage decorations and balls. I have some also and am disappointed that some broke in storage last winter. The angle topper is so pretty too.
Thank you for sharing
Have a lovely day

I love vintage ornaments (I read your "ornies" as "orneries" first...lol!). Even your blog header is gorgeous, so sparkly and festive!

Thanks for the comment on my blog earlier. I just wanted to let you know that no credit to me on the napkin folding. I found this site with easy instructions: http://www.wholesale-table-linens.com/napkin-folding-inside.html?fold=Rose

Have a great week! 9 days and counting. Yikes!

Hi Ceekay! I'm glad you're doing well now. I love your vintage ornaments. And your angel for the top of the tree is priceless. What a wonderful memory each and every time you take her out..Thanks for swinging by to see the Snowflake Tablescape. The cloche domes are wonderful aren't they? They have so many great uses. I'm going to add you to my blog roll so I can keep in touch...hugs ~lynne~
