Show and Tell Already??

I don't know where the week went, but here we are at Show and Tell Friday. I always like to participate in this fun at No Place Like Home. This week I am posting especially for my blogging friend Charlotte at At Home in Scottsdale. Charlotte always posts such beautiful dolls that she has made. These are a couple of my little dolls that I especially like. These were from McDonalds Happy Meals several years back. I bought Minnie, but Mickey was no where to be found. I finally found him on Ebay. I always had them at my desk at work to remind me of the little girl in me!
Last week Charlotte showed an figurine that I believe is from the artist Betsy Pease Guttman. I have these little plates that I just think are so cute. I placed them on a doilie so you can see they are small.

This little box was a gift to my daughter when she was little. It is the size of a matchbox. Inside was
A Puzzle. I saved this from one of her room cleaning days. I always thought it was just too cute.
So you can see the size.
I guess my show and tell today is small items that I think are so cute. I have always wished I had a dollhouse, I guess these satisfy some of that desire. I have many other small items. Most are put away, but I may just have to bring them out someday and enjoy sharing them with you.
I am anxious to see all the lovely show and tell items this week.

Yes, please did out and share your small things! I have decided I DESERVE a dollhouse, and hopefully soon will be able to work on the kit I bought at Goodwill. I want it for my grands to play with. I love small things, and yours are sweet! I love the artwork of Betsy Pease Guttman. She captured such softness. Thank you for sharing your little treasures!

Thanks for stopping by today - I love having S&T visitors. And you're right about how fast the weeks roll around to Friday again! Such cute little things you showed today - I bought miniature shelves for both kids when they were young, but I don't know what happened to everything that was on them! Sad.

I'm also with you on the feelings that come with autumn - but when I can't sleep, I definitely don't get in the mood to clean! Too funny.

Hi again!

I did see your profile and congrats on being a survivor! ChemoAngels is a non profit organization made up of all volunteers that matches Angels with patients on cancer. The Angels don't live near the patients but are given a small set of answers to questions about the patient's likes and hobbies etc. The Angel sends a card or small gift and words of encouragement once a week while the patient is on treatment. www.chemoangels.com is the web address. I started as an Angel and now I also help with the Administrative work keeping track of Angels and patients - that type of thing. You can read more at the website!

I was forced into the chemo club, too, and I loved how you worded your encouragement to my sis! Of course, I had to rush to your blog and see who you were...and was so glad I did...what a great blog!!! I will be back, for sure!

Hi Ceekay,
So nice to see you and thank you for your visit. Yes, I have been busy trying to get back in the swing of things since vacation.

I love your show and tell. The puzzle is just too sweet. The plates are wonderful. In fact, The plate with the little girl in the corner is called In Disgrace. I did it in a hand crewel for my mother many many years ago. I just love that sweet scene.
You are very blessed to have those darling plates.
Have a great evening and see you again soon.
Blessings, Celestina

I found your key wall picture. It looks great!
I also fell in love with your tall cloche, so when I found one just like it, I HAD to buy it! I just need to find a black plate to put under it like you have.
