Autumn Show and Tell #1

****Update...thank you to all who have left comments for me. I promise I will get to your blogs. I am a bit behind..busy weekend. ****
I am a Happy Camper! It is Autumn!! I LOVE Autumn. I have been decorating my home all week. You see, I justify all my fall decorations because we can put it up in September and take down after Thanksgiving. That is 3 months...we have no other holiday that lasts that long!
So for Show and Tell at No Place Like Home, I am starting to show some of my decorations. Well, our decorations, because hubby has a part in it too!
Last year while visiting my friend Rose, we saw this Autumn tree. I took a picture of it and we did it ourselves in each of our homes. I KNOW Rose will post hers also. The picture really doesn't do it justice, it is really beautiful.
Close up of the tree.
Pumpkins everywhere in the Family room.
We never sit on this chair, so why not decorate it??
Ok, back to hubby. He went to Walgreens and came home and surprised me with these salt and pepper shakers. I am saving the pumpkins for my Thanksgiving table...the acorns I have on the table now.
Well, I hope you all are enjoying the coming of this wonderful season.
I won't be home all day Friday, but I promise I will get to your Show and Tell's. It really is my favorite day of the week!
By the way...just to tell you HOW much I do love the Fall...I am going to Michigan in October. If you want to see me...I'll be at the Cider Mill!!!

Oh, C...you and Autumn! Your decorations are just beautiful, especially the tree. You have really put the pressure on me now! How will I ever compete with your Autumn-tacular? When you come to see me you will have to be content with my measly, half hearted attempt at Autumn decorating, because unlike you, I DO NOT like it! I know what follows Autumn in Michigan and it ain't pretty in my book! By as for your Fall decor...LOVES IT! I crown you queen of Autumn!
XOXO Kathy

I love all your fall decorations, especially the autumn tree! I still haven't started decorating yet, too hot yet (here.)

Oh your home looks so pretty with the fall decorations. You are right about being a holiday where the decorations stay up longer. I hate spending money sometimes on holiday thingies because there are other things I NEED that will be out all 12 months (budget ya know?). I didn't do the mosiac on the birdbath it came that way. Blessed me!

You and Ro outdid yourselves with making those awesome pumpkin trees! I am intrigued and may just have to try my luck. I know I have most of the 'fixings'. : )
Love the S&Ps too!

I LOVE fall! We are holding off until the weekend of September 20-21 to decorate since the sun has been out in the afternoons here for the last couple of days and made it most un-fall-like (I don't think that's even close to a real word!)

Your fall tree is exquisite. I've already visited A Hint of Home and I am definitely borrowing that idea.

I love that Autumn tree! I have a friend who sells seasonally and thematically decorated trees at shows. She, too, fills them to the brim with florals and little decorations and, of course, tons of lights! So pretty. Your tablescapes are really nice, too. You have a great nack at decorating. dana

An autumn tree is a wonderful idea. My mind is racing. I have a "Charlie Brown" tree in the attic that might work. They say that "Imitation is the highest form of flattery." Your fall decor is all very nice.

I didn't have time to post a S&T yesterday but really love yours! I too love Autumn and am in the middle of getting out my decorations. When you are in Michigan, stop by the Franklin Cider Mill in Franklin. I grew up not that far from there - they make THE BEST cider donuts in the whole world! The cider is not too bad either (wink).
