yada, yada, yada

Cancer is awful!  I hate it!  I am angry I have it.....and it has been rearing it's ugly head the last few weeks.  I have not been well, enduring a problem with one of my organs.  I did see a specialist today and will have a procedure on Friday morning.

Since I can be sick anywhere, we did go up to our cabin for Labor Day.  Our deck is my favorite place to be.  So I did a little decking up!!!

I found the louvered doors at Habitat for Humanity Restore.  Hubby affixed  them to the back of the deck to hide the shed!  I love it.  The bistro set was bought at a resale shop.

I am not sure if I have shown this before, but I saw it on Pinterest.  It is just an old cupboard door that hubby painted, I sanded and stenciled the RELAX on it!

The shutters my husband made for me on all the windows.  The little birdcage is from HL sale aisle.  I put faux succulents in each cup.

This is setting by the glider I got at another garage sale for $25.00.  I have ALWAYS wanted a glider!

Found these at yard sales.....

I put a little fall into the mix.!

This is from me standing on the ground by the front side of the deck.

Just a reminder of what the deck looked like when we bought it....

I am loving this little doll house and desperately need to feel better to enjoy it more!

Next, I will show a little bedroom project I did......

Joyfully,

Ceekay

You continue to amaze me with your upbeat attitude despite your illness.
One can learn a lot from you.
I love what you have done to your deck. So darn cute. It looks like an ideal place to relax.

Hi Ceekay- I am just back to blogging for a bit. I am so sorry that you are dealing with your cancer again. I am praying that you will feel better soon. How wonderful that you have your sweet place to slip away and enjoy. You are right- you can be sick anywhere---might as well be where you can enjoy things when you have good moments. xo Diana

I so pray that your specialist can help...I have no idea what you are going through but you know I have had it affect my love. Surrounding yourself with beauty and things you love, and spending time on those things only when you feel motivated and energized can be wonderful. I think your deck looks very relaxing indeed, especially for a really lazy person like me!! Ha!

Sending love,
Jane xx

Well like everyone else - I am sorry to hear cancer is rearing it's head again. I guess I don't understand your kind of cancer - you do seem to be handling it well. I admire you. Hope you had a nice time at the cabin and good luck tomorrow.

My darling friend how thankful I am that you have been blessed with your darling doll house. You have been on my mind and heart all week long. I so wish we could hit the pause button on this blasted cancer.

Our family will depart this next week for Texas. There will of course be room for you. Let's plan on it. Too junking good gypsy girls.

Still I'll miss you and I have to tell you right now my throat has a big lump in it cause I'll miss ya.
