This past Weekend

was good.  We had quite the storm on Saturday, but even that was a bit enjoyable, since we don't see rain that often.

We went to a few Estate Sales.  Not much to choose from, but I did get a double shepherd's hook for $3.00.

I also went to Michael's on Sunday and here is a tiny secret.  They have a fairy garden department now....it is all on an end cap and I could not resist.  Kinda pricey for some considering, it is outside in the elements....but shhhh, go see and don't tell anyone!!

Oh my goodness....I had to have this bee skep.

Did you know what these are?  I didn't.  Kumquats....they aren't bad, but I will stick with my bananas.

Hubby got to work in the Master bath with the peel and stick tiles!  I LOVE< LOVE< LOVE this!!

I have decided that I am buying Tulips every week till spring, if they are available.  I get mine from Trader Joe's and they are fab!  One of these days, maybe they will have orange ones!  (don't forget the penny in the bottom of the vase.  It keeps them from drooping!)

The little bunny dish was $1.00 at an Estate Sale.  I was in a springy mood, so I bought it.  Yep, big spender here!

Gotta go now, I just thought right now, I should put the yellow bunny by the yellow tulips!  Duh!

I blame it on chemo and that is my story and I am sticking to it!!  Have a great week!

Those are sweet additions to your fairy garden, sometimes we just must splurge. Tulips are a case in point, in fact, my next post shows tulips I bought (pink). They just light up my mood! Cute yellow bunny you bought.

Hi Ceekay! The weather has been crazy this year! We've had some very cold winters for the island. Now your tulips are so pretty. I have to travel to Houston to go to Trader Joe's so no flowers for me. I have seen theirs and they are gorgeous and really at good prices! I'm so glad you like your Tilda, I certainly did enjoy making her for you.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

You make me smile, so do your yellow tulips and your yellow bunny - so great to see a taste of spring as we go through our 4th snowstorm of the winter, but thankfully not as bad as they predicted.

I must look for some of those tiles because I have just the wall and I think the tile would be ever so much easier to keep clean. It's a great look. The fairy bee skep? Too cute!

I always buy my cut flowers from Trader Joe's -- they just have the freshest and the nicest selection. Our weather has been perfect, hasn't it? As long as you weren't one of the ones who got wind damage with the rain, it was such a blessing. The air was so clear and fresh afterwards. I'm loving that intoxicating citrus blossom smell. All of our citrus trees are in full-bloom, and I'm hoping for lots of fruit!

ok.... DID NOT know about the penny secret. I will totally use that next time. I got my yellow tulips at Costco, but TJ's always has great flowers. We just don't have one close by.

The tiles look GREAT! What a fun project. It really adds an upgraded look the sink area.
Thank you for joining in for FCF! :)
I'm so glad you did!

Hi Ceekay, Love your tulips!! Darling little finds for a secret garden. Hobby Lobby has a row devoted to this too this year. I would love to create something but they are a bit pricey. Waiting for half off!

Your tile project looks wonderful.
This is a great product and looks so real. Love the look around your sink.
Have a great weekend.
