So the story of the Gloves

When my husband and I were planning the luncheon for my party, I knew I wanted it to be Vintage.  So for weeks, when I was Estate sale-ing, I would look for hankies.  But nope, not a hanky in sight.

I want to insert here that as funny as it may sound, I will pray before shopping that the Lord will give me a little blessing.   Just some little thing to make me smile.

The week before the party, I was getting desperate.  What could I do?  We went estating and the very last house was a huge 5 car garage sale in a very Spanish looking house.  I told my hubby that I probably won't find anything here.

I WAS WRONG!

The whole garage was full of antiques.....many of which I could not afford.

Then hubby said.....what about these?

12 adorable vintage gloves and for a fantastic price!  Then under the gloves was stacks of doilies....

We bought the items and I said Thank You Jesus all the way to the car.

I worked for 2 hours on Sunday making the tags.  Each was different....then I tied the tags on the ring finger of the set of gloves.

The ladies loved them, I was thrilled and we have an Awesome God!

Amen, I'm so proud of you Ceekay, wish I'd been there to get a gorgeous glove :) I prayed for the past two months for a recliner love seat - last week a church friend listed one on Facebook FREE, and it's now in my den and I'm loving it and thanking the Lord!!!

Ceekay, I would wear those sweet gloves to church, even now. It would make more sense to wear them , since we all worry about germs.:):) The little details on them are so cute. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

What a fun find, Ceekay! Can you believe that? I do believe that God answers those little prayers as much as the big ones-we just usually think it is chance or "good luck". Well, God sure make you lucky AND the ladies that got such a sweet gift were lucky, too. xo Diana

ps. I LOVE your new header-
