Bye Bye Fall, Hello

Christmas!

My hubby has been home this past week and I cannot tell you how thankful I am!  He helped me pack up all the Harvest and put up the tree and helped me decorate it yesterday.  It isn't totally finished, but I did it so different this year.  I did gold and brown.

But, I finally have one of those dough bowls.....and I took all my vintage ornies and put them in the bowl.  That is different for me also!  Hubby said, "I like that!"

Every day I will try to put out a little more.  But so far, I am liking it!

You just reminded me to put the fall stuff away!! I like your dough bowl...it looks very festive with the ornaments! It must feel great to have the tree up, I always feel like I'm 3/4 of the way there once that's done! :)

Jane

Oh Ceekay, I read your other blog post and my heart goes out to you. You are in my prayers, for healing, wisdom for the Dr. to address your infection and future treatments, for peace as you recover. Love you dear friend. Let's talk soon.

Well, you know I am PEA GREEN with ENVY over that beautiful dough bowl!!! It looks beautiful filled with your vintage ornaments...great idea.
I'm so glad they've found some meds to help you deal with the side effects of the chemo. Just take it easy...I know how hard that is, when you want to be up & around but you need your strength to fight this battle.

Praying for you, Honey,
fondly,
Rett

p.s. You are the greatest example of showing us how to appreciate every single day, Ceekay! Maybe that is your mission right now.
