Remember Show and Tell?

when we were in Elementary School.....well, let's do that today!

Cuz, I have so much to show you....

Ok, first of all, and I really have to show a better picture of this, I want to show you what my daughter gave me for Mother's day....

This is a beautiful "doily" with a tea pot and cups....I have it under a cloche right now, so when I change things...I will lay it out flat!

She also gave me a teapot tea strainer....that girl KNOWS me!  I also got my yearly calendar with family pictures....that is a Fav of mine!

Then my hubby and I went estate sale-ing.  We had the best day!  I don't know what it was, but we found the best things, bargains, and everyone was so nice!

My daughter mentioned she needed some towels and a queen set of sheets.
Jackpot!  And the prices were 50 to 75 percent off the marked price.

Look at this tied quilt.  Perfect......not anything wrong with it, handmade....
it was $20.00, but we got it for $5.00.

See, my hubby and I are praying in a 1970's camper.  So far, nothing, well, that we can afford, but we keep looking.  My dream would be a 1973...the year we were married.  But I am doing it in 70's colors!!

3 orange and yellow crochet doilies....$1.00.

See the sweet jelly jar on the right.  Well, this sale was fill a bag for $5.00.  I got both these pieces, a shower head rack, and...

this sweet pitcher...No, I didn't need it, but we threw it in!

This little 6" rolling pin was $3.00.

So, we are leaving this sale, and in the garage I see this candy dish.  I said to hubby see how much....our 40th is in August.

So he asked the man in the garage and he says....who is it for?  We both said, us, we will be celebrating our 40th in August.....he says....it is yours....my gift to you....

Can you believe that?  I was tickled.

We stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch and I just giggled when I saw this ant...

Hubby bought him for me!!

What a fun day!  I am tired, but it is a good tired!!

Yay! Look at all of the wonderful things you got! That quilt! I know there is so much work that goes into one of these and you know you stole that thing! :) Now, you said 70s? You want a olive green bathtub and harvest gold toilet? :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I loved seeing your finds. And I am going to pray with you about that camper/trailer you are looking for. If you lived closer to me I could direct you to one that needs work and my sweetheart and I could help you make it the place of your dreams! I love the seventies idea you have for your camper. I can't wait to hear that you've found the perfect one for you! Please let me know when that happens.
