From UGG-LEEEE

to much better....

This is what our electrical boxes look like....

I can't even imagine what they were thinking....begs the question...were they thinkin????
So a few weeks ago, at Lowe's the angels started singing!!

Can you stand it?

Now, believe me, I know these are silk.....I had geraniums, HOWEVER, now that it is 110 degrees...and it isn't July.  I quit!  Not until October will I try real flowers again.  And yes, I also know carnations don't grow in groups of red, white, and blue....but you know what else????  I LIKE it....!!

I may add to the fence, if I can squirrel away some money and before they are gone.  I could see one on the left and one on the right with little sweet bushes that don't need much water.....boy, the dreams and projects NEVER end, do they?

Toss some American flags in there and it'll be perfect. It's a much better look than the electrical boxes. 110° already? Yikes!

Great job! Yikes, I can't even IMAGINE 110 degrees!!! I would melt - good thing I live in Canada. I can't stand the heat.

Love your solution to the "UGG-LEEE" problem! Very pretty indeed!

Wow so much better. I think men design most of the stuff in housing. Big mistake. Like why are all the plugs down so low. What ever gets plugged in down on the ground?

That's pretty smart! You certainly dressed that pig up. :)

I know on our street a couple of folks had planted beautiful bushes to camouflage the big cable boxes...and it looked great... until the utility came along and yanked it out so they could work on it. I think your idea will work perfectly because you can pull it out easily and then put it right back. :)

What a great transformation! Here in New Zealand, the meter boxes are all on the front wall of the house--talk about ugly!
