Mic key..M O U S E

I was so sad today to hear of Annette Funicello's passing.  Oh, many an hour was spent as a young girl watching the Mickey Mouse Club, and of course, Annette was a favorite.

I know she suffered for many years with Multiple Sclerosis.... which was so sad.

Out of her earthly pain now....Bye Annette.

This has been a mighty sad day for the ladies ~ Annette, Margaret Thatcher, and style Queen Lilly Pulitzer. I think I will always remember Annette with her gorgeous smile and sparkling eyes ~ truly America's Sweetheart.
Thanks for the lovely picture, Ceekay.

I wanted to be Annette when I was young. I loved watching her on the Mickey Mouse Club. She was one child star youngsters could look up too and try to emulate!

Oh, I know! My heart was just broken. I'm glad her suffering is over but like you, I felt I knew her popping in from school to watch the MMC! I so admired her when she started making the beach movies. Walt Disney had asked her not to wear a bikini because she had an image to keep and she honored him and didn't.
Thanks for popping in to see me and hope you're feeling good.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I heard her children say that she was pain free and dancing in heaven. WHat a lovely thought! She was such a squeaky clean kinda gal! We sure don't know her kind of celebrities today for sure! RIP sweet Annette!
