I Made a Bear....Once!

Years ago I knew a lady who made Teddy Bears.  She said one day, do you want to make a Teddy Bear like mine?  Sure!  (This is about 15 years ago, so I was a lot more eager back then!)

And with her help, I made a lovely Teddy Bear.  And, I have never, and I think I am pretty safe to say, never going to do it again!

Oh, I know, she is sweet and wouldn't it be nice to make some for gifts or even to make some money.  Ladies, in my opinion, no one, and I mean NO ONE would pay me what it would take to make another one!!

So enjoy....the fruits of my labors in Bear Land!!

The above left photos shows the little bear on her pantaloons on the butt..

Cute, cute, cute! I remember that fabric from years back. Isn't it a Debbie Mumm print?

Well, I think you made such a gorgeous bear that you really won't need to make another ;) She is precious, love her dress and pantaloons but her sweet face is my favorite! Hugs ~ Mary

Oh, Ceekay, the little bear is precious! I love the fluffy fabric you used for the bear itself and all the little clothes are adorable. I kinda know what you mean. I've made lots of stuffed animals and literally burned up a sewing machine trying to sew through some fluffly fabric for a rabbit I was making. Well, I got a new sewing machine! :) Thanks for popping in to see my home tour. I was just so honored.
Be a sweetie,

Ceekay, You did a fantastic job with that sweet bear!!!
the dress is adorable and I know it probably gave you headaches making this...
Can you make me one for a MILLLION dollars? LOL

I can say the same about a china doll! Never again! And it cost me triple what I could have bought one for - ha ha on me!!

Glad you loved the tablecloth - it was only $24 for 120 round! I was so thrilled, I decided to buy instead of rent for the reception- it was cheaper and I got what I wanted!

I love to collect teddy bears but I have never attempted to make one myself. Yours came out adorable.

Oh that is so funny! I've never made a teddybear before. I bet it would be fun if I was a kid, but I don't think so now. LOL! Your bear is cute.
