My Old Tool Box has Fallen!!

Do you remember when I found this glorious thing at a garage sale a few months ago?  I paid $5.00 for it.  The man I bought it from said his dad, who has passed, made it about 60-70 years ago.  Yeah.  I wanted one so bad.

I knew Fall decorations were just begging to be in this tool box.  And I am so pleased with the outcome, I could barely wait to share it!!

Ok...maybe you are all not squealing, but I am!!

Oh am I squealing! It is absolutely darling! Love, love the tool box. What a find! Love, love what you did with it. It would be so dang cute holding fat quarters of material. That is when you're through using it as a decorating piece. Which may be never, because it's so universal. You can just use it for every holiday. Sweet piece my friend.

Dang...I've got a wooden tool box, just sitting in the garage, since I pulled out the herbs when they died. I am going to go get it TODAY & stuff something autumnal inside.

Thanks for the inspiration in sharing your idea. LOVE the looks of yours, esp. that cute sign. Doncha' WISH we could buy pumpkins for only 5¢

It was wonderful to see your name in a comment! I am so far behind on blogs myself it is shameful so sometimes seeing a name is just the trick I need to get over to a blog.

I adore that toolbox and what you did with it! It's perfect! Don't even get me started on apothecary jars. I'm seriously addicted! Isn't it wonderful that just a few simple things inside all that shapely glass, just becomes a "WOW!"

Below is an email that I had forwarded to you, but now I'm wondering if maybe you didn't get it. Anyway, I had been talking to Kristy @ Hyphen-Interiors about a Phoenix bloggers get-together & she took the bull by the horns (thank goodness) & has something in the works during the first week in November. I hope you will be able to attend because I truly want to meet you. If not this time, then we will try again! Anyway, please reply to Kristy if you plan to attend, or you can reply to me and I'll forward to her.

The consensus so far…

What Day?
Tuesday or Thursday seems to work best for everyone.

What Time?
I had written that we could meet at 6:30pm, but then realized that wouldn’t leave much time for shopping after. So, maybe an early dinner at 5pm? That way we’ll miss crowds and the worst part of traffic. Then, we can shop afterward. Does that time work for any of you?

What place?
Kierland Commons seems to be where the overwhelming majority wants to go. Home stores in the area include:
Z Gallerie
Anthropologie
Crate and Barrel
Restoration Hardware
Sur La Table

The Scottsdale Quarter is across the street. It has:
West Elm
H&M
Pottery Barn

There is a True Kitchen in Scottsdale Quarter. So, we can eat at White Chocolate Grill OR True Kitchen. I’m totally up for either, as that smoothie sounds yummy.

So, once again, could you give me your thoughts?

Time to meet; is earlier better? Restaurant – True Food or White Choco? Tuesday or Thursday?
