I Got out the Sewing Machine!!!!

I must have been really bored, or heat stroke or somethin'....cuz I finished this pillow that I started before last Christmas.  Actually, I finished another pillow but I need some stuffin' before I show it.  And yes, I hand embroidered it!!

This is a gift for someone who LOVES buttons.  Now I did see a pillow like this a while ago and that is where I got the idea...but I don't remember who.  That was before PINTEREST!  If you have a pillow like this please let me know and I will definately give you the credit!

Well, that is it....Sewing took all my originality out of my brain for the rest of the week!!

Well I love the button pillow! And I'd like to know if you hand embroidered the words, or do you have one of those amazing embroidery machines. I'd like to ask the world, Do I need an embroidery machine? Because I kind of feel like I do. So if you tell me you embroidered the words with a machine, I will definitely have to tell Mr. Redo that I need that type of machine for Christmas. Thanks for sharing your cute pillow with us, can't wait to see the other one.

Hugs,
Mary @ Redo 101

Did you embroider it by hand or on the machine? Its very cute. I like that you added the lace doilies.

When Sweet Boy was a baby I used to sing this song to him. People would stop and say "Is that a song? I've never heard that song. What kind of song is THAT?"

I wasn't sure where I'd learned it but it was indeed a song. Ceekay's pillow proves it. :)

How cute. I used to play a game button button who's got the button when I was a kid. I had forgotten about that. I like your little glitter graphic thingy - so cute. Hope you're having a good holiday weekend.

O, Ceekay, I laughed at your cute dream of coming to see me. I wish you really could. And, I would let you take all the photos you wanted and would let you put them on your blog. lol

My mother left me an awesome, huge set of BROWN transferware that I gave to my daughter. Funny you dreamed I had some.

I do hope you like the Apple Fritter Bread...we had slices, buttered and toasted, this morning.
I bought 2 packages yesterday cause I like keeping one in the freezer, on the ready...and also am scared to death they will stop making it. :)))
Let me know if u like it.

Hi Ceekay...

Ahhh...I just adore your "button" pillow, sweet lady! It turned out beautifully! Girlfriend, I just giggled when I read what you wrote about how this sweet little pillow took "all the creativity" out of your brain! Hehe! You know, I used to love to embroider. In fact, I embroidered alot of my clothing when I was a teen. I have just gotten away from it but keep thinking that I need to pick it up again. It would be a great way to spend some long, winter days!

Thank you for sharing your pretty button pillow with us, my friend!

Warmest wishes,
Chari
