I finished a couple more projects!!

When Sally and I stopped by HL, I picked up some supplies to finish a couple of projects!  They have been PATIENTLY waiting!!
Months ago Karen and I found these cute towels at a boutique and we challenged each other to make a pillow.  I finally got mine done!  The flower is not my creation, but a swap gift....I cut a doily apart and coffee stained it.  Even my husband said, "That is quite nice"!  WOW!

I have blog envy....now, don't you snicker, you all probably have it too!  I see all these gorgeous cheese trays and lifts...for vignettes....but I just frankly, don't have any!!  So what is a girl to do?
Make one!
I had this drawer front.  I found the extra large spools and painted them and then put paper that went in my kitchen.  Can you say, love it?  I really think this is cute and I am going to look for a square piece of wood to do one!!  IF I had some old door knobs...(I am in my Mamie Jane mode here!) I would use those!!

Yesterday and today I have been sorting and organizing my craft supplies.  What a job...and I don't even have that much!  But I got it done!  I do have a couple of things I would like to make for Fall decorating.  Or, I guess I should say I want to copy cat!!  Anyways, later for that.

I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday....
Wow Us Wednesday at Kim's
Fall in Love with your Home at Laura's.
Show your Creations at Kristen's.
Vintage Inspiration Friday at Common Ground.

Hi Ceekay (have I ever told you how much I like your name?...It just sounds so happy!),

I think that's one of the cutest pillows. I love that you added the lace to the corners...something I haven't seen on all the Frency-grainsack / burlap things so popular now. This is soooo pretty!

I LUV this pillow. You did a fantastic job. Tell me, did you make it so you can take the cover off to wash it...? I am about to make a couple of pillows and I am not sure how to do the envelope style. I'll probably just "make a regular pillow...much easier.

I love your riser, too. Good idea.

You did a beautiful job on your pillow! I love the towel that you used to create it. Great idea to cut up the doily. I always chuckle when my hubby comments on a project of mine. The one I posted today actually got a thumbs up from him!
Your lift from the drawer front was a great idea too.....you know I smiled when I read you were in your Mamie Jane mode :)

Ceekay,
I just love your pillow. It is awesome. The flower embellishment is gorgeous. You are very creative and talented.
It is funny because I have been on a pillow kick lately and made a few for Fall from dollar store kitchen towels. I love finding pillows and then embellishing them with vintage lace etc. So much fun to work on.
Your display lift made from the drawer front is perfect. What a great use of the drawer.

Have fun creating and great weekend.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
