Fall-ing slowly and other "stuff"!

Slowing I am decorating for Fall.  Haven't got the tubs out yet...but I have a friend coming for lunch and I had to do a squirrel tablescape.  Last year when packing up my Fall things, I realized I had some acorn and squirrel items...so, a Tablescape was hatched in my brain!!

Hubby bought me the place card holders years ago.....

I used tags for the placecards

I think this looks sorta Artsy!!

Dollar Tree squirrel!

I used my wicker chargers because of the wicker acorn basket.

Cleaned off back patio and found these harvest-y pots at Dollar Tree...Ro, I thought of you cuz I know you love this thing!!

Mom, what are ya doin???  Can we play, or eat?

This is all BJ's fault!!  She told us about that Apple Fritter Bread.  I made French Toast and put some cooked apple slices in some Maple Syrup!  Oh mercy...this was yummy!!

Back to a little decorating...I have had this glass bowl full of glass fruit from Kirklands for years...

Remember how I often say I still love Country decor...well see, I am a schizo decorator too!!

Saw this pillow at Bells or Bealls, whichever you prefer to call it!!  It was on sale for $3.00 and I wanted it...you all don't care if I mix styles do you??

My school desk seemed to be begging for the pillow...at least for now!

This is a QVC arrangement.  I have Christmas, Fall, and Spring.

I put it on the sofa table in the Family room....I think it is so pretty and the candle is battery and with a timer!!  Oh, I love those!!

Hope you all followed me through this post!  Oh, I almost forgot....I am a happy, happy blogger.  Now for you all that have been blogging a short while and have 1000 followers, just overlook me here...but I almost have 300 followers!!!  Little ole me!!  I can barely stand it!!  YEAH!

I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday and......

Wow, Ceekay, you've been busy. Your tablescapes are just charming -- lovely, warm & inviting. Thank you for your sweet comments about my new lights. My given name is "Carol Ann" so we are close. I would love to get together some time. I know there is quite a large group of us in the Phoenix area, so maybe we can do a lunch some where central. I'm thinking probably a bit later on when the weather gets a bit cooler, so we can dine al fresco -- mid to late October? How does that sound?
:)CAS
PS: I'm bloggy friends with Marty.

Love it all Miss CeeKay! Fall is my favorite time ever. We went to the OKCity Fair and it was chilly outside. Fab! Not too cold but certainly not hot. LOVED the food, weather and the look and feel of Fall in the air!

Everything looks great, Ceekay. My friend spent so much on QVC that they had to take out a small mortgage to pay off all the credit cards- No kidding! She is banned from watching it anymore!;>D

That darned BJ would have us all weighing 500 pounds if we followed her diet. Now..you tell me, how does she eat all that and stay so skinny? I really want to shove her in a box sometimes, don't you?;>)

Congratulations on almost 300 followers. I felt that way when I got to 100 and then to 200...and I am slowly growing. People follow YOU because you are SO real...and right there! REAL! Love it- love that you mix/match styles too. Have a great week- xo Diana

I know what you mean, I am pleased as punch with my 160 or so.

Love your 'new' Fall look. I haven't even started yet. I'm flying to California in a couple of days to lead worship at a district ladies' retreat. Can't start decorating until I get home - but you've inspired me. I'm going to enjoy changing my home for the season.
