That Girl!

My daughter called me and had to share a story involving her daughter, my 5 year old granddaughter.

This little one has quite a quick wit!

The other night she and her brother were a little too rambunctious at bedtime.  My daughter went in the room again and told them if she had to come in again to quiet them down, it would cost them a dollar from their piggy banks.

Dear GD said, " Mom, can I just give you the dollar now and get it over with?"

She is definitely my daughter's child AND my husband's granddaughter!

Oh CeeKay Sweetie...
Your little grand daughter makes me think of Heidi's 2 gals. One night I told them, I do not want to hear another peep out of you, now go to sleep. Just as I went to close the door, I hear a little voice say "Peep".

Aren't they just the cutest. Something about these girls. Your sweet pea is just beautiful sweetie. I love her little face, and she sure is happy with that puppy of hers isn't she?

I hope you have a wonderful time traveling to see friends and family sweetie. You will be in my prayers. I love to fly, but then Momma is terrified and so is my daughter, so I have seen both sides of it. Just tell yourself it will be SO worth it when you arrive. I will be watching for photos sweetie.

Take care. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

How funny! Don't ya' just love their comments? I try to write them down so I won't forget them. LOL

Reminds me of the time I worked at the Cleveland Clinic in the ♥ cath lab. We had a jar on the desk that you had to put a quarter into if you said something nasty about someone. One day, an elderly black nurse was about to gossip...stopped herself...went to her purse & put her quarter in the jar FIRST & then went on to tell some delicious gossip. She was a hoot! I'll never forget her...dear Lucilla.

Thanks for jogging a funny memory.
