On the Fifth day of decorating....

I said to my husband.....look what I did for you!!!

Ok, now really, have you ever???  My husband for years collected the Hallmark Star Trek ornies.  It has been years, but I decided to put  up a little in our den for him this year...see I told you I have gone nutz!!
The first ornie...say Happy Holidays, Spock here...live long and prosper!

Isn't it a thing of beauty????

See the little snowman.  It is the grumpy snowman....it says things like Bah Humbug and I hate Snow!

The other day we went to CB for lunch.  I wasn't going to buy anything but then I saw it!  ( Insert visions of trying to pack up all this stuff in my head!) My husband said, you are kidding right?  I said, oh, I could so use this for my Christmas luncheons and stuff!  Soo with rolling eyes, he took it up to the register.  They know us there already!!  But seriously, isn't it cute!!

Tomorrow is an exciting day for me.  My girlfriend Candy is coming over to help me decorate  the main tree.  Then tomorrow night, is our church's tour of homes.  I so love visiting other homes and seeing how they decorate.  I love taking walks at night when the lights are on in the house also!!  Admit it, so do you!!

I will talk to you again soon....have a great weekend.....and fun decorating...because you KNOW you are just like me.  It won't end until we pack it away!!

Ceekay, you have inspired me! You see, my husband is an OU football fan. We received a lovely OU football wreath for Christmas a couple of years ago and I've been trying to figure out how to use it with my other decorations. I've decided to begin an OU tree just for my hubby and put the wreath around it! If you can't lick 'em, join em! Annie

HI Ceekay! I love your reasoning for the little Christmas purse. It's precious! You're such a wonderful wifey putting up a Star Trek tree for your hubby! I didn't even know those trekkie ornies were made! :)
I'm so glad you liked my explosion and how nice of your friend to come over to help you with your decorating! I need a friend like that! I'm so behind.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I had no idea there were Spock ornaments and how fun is that for your husband. Can't wait to see your tree all done up after you and your friend have fun with it. Hugs, Marla

Oh how cute! I know your husband is so proud of his little tree. What a sweet wife to do that for him. Cute little purse. Can't wait to see it on a tablescape. I hope the tour of homes will let you take pictures to share. I love Christmas home tours. laurie

There were two girls (twins) who lived across from me in colleg and another who had Star Trek collectibles all over her room, all who would be totally jealous of your husband's tree. They had a few ornaments, but not enough to fill a tree.

Better be careful about that. Your husband may keep buying and you'll have them on your main tree one year instead of your ornaments. LOL

Collection trees are fun though! I have one all birds and another all teddy bears.

It is a thing of beauty because you did it for hubs! :) I get it! :)

I need to head over to CB and see what they have. I haven't been in forever. Thanks for the reminder. Have fun on the walk of homes. I would love that too! :)
