I am so sad....

Elizabeth Edwards passed away today.  I so admired her strength and dignity she showed while battling cancer and her personal life. Very sad and although I never met her, I will miss her.

Yes, I know ...
While we didn't have an opportunity to meet her personally, I think we all "knew" her and felt a connection.
What a Lady!

Having lost my own Mother this year, Elizabeth Edwards death just hit me so hard. Thinking of what those last days/hours were like for her family, mostly her children, breaks my heart. I feel sad for her, having a husband that couldn't be there for her the way he should have been during this time. But, she was a strong lady and I am sure her children will always admire her for what she dealt with during her last year. Truly a sad day!

I cried when I heard. Elizabeth Edwards death is such a loss but she will be remembered as a role model because she lived her life with courage, strength and dignity.
